This product works! I have pics posted to prove it. Got rid of a copper head! I have 4 kids and hate lizards and snakes, and even more so with kids playing in the yard (I don’t want snakes with kids playing in the yard, lizards are fine in the yard… I just want lizards off my porch/deck where I sit)… So, Last summer we saw a snake skin right off the porch on the front of our house. This surprised me because I felt like the foot traffic in and out of the house would have deterred them. Anywas, that snake skin alone was enough for me.. I bought snake deterrent off Amazon. I used the green scent snake deterrent balls. Maybe they worked, I never saw a snake. So I can’t say For sure with the balls. However I can say for sure with this product. This powder interestingly enough mentions in the product labeling that If you don’t see any snakes or pests to reapply in two weeks. I thought it was interesting. I thought the powder would just make the snakes, if any, want to go away or not want to come near the treated area. Maybe this is so.. and maybe it works so good you may see one actually trying to get away from the powder/treated area. So my husband applied it about 5-6 days ago, and my husband just did the porch area and along the front of our house. He did not do the garage area or the other side of the house the garage is on. He rolled his eyes when I asked him to use it. (I can get why he would think it’s ridiculous, he’s a marine and lives in the woods with all his training. Plus he’s way braver than I’ll ever be)… anyways, he did it because He’s a great man and loves me. Thank God for brave men and women! This morning, my husband left for work and I thought I would finish the garage area he didn’t do, and you can see what I saw as I glanced around where I would put the powder. This snake was inside the garage area. I now know why this product label states the fact about you seeing a snake. This was the untreated area. Of course not only was this a snake but a copper head! We live in NC. First snake I have seen in a long time and low and behold it’s a copper head. Ugh! So I highly recommend this product and beware you may see a snake actually being forced away by it. Needless to say, my husband finished the rest of the garage area. Thank God I saw this snake and My husband was able to come home to kill it. Sorry for this long review, but I am so pleased this product help protect my kids. This was infront of our house. I could see this snake in the back yard maybe because we live against the woods but the front shocked me. My kids play out front a lot. I’m so thankful for this product. Last thing, lizards have hardly been around. I see one usually everyday and I have maybe seen 1 since we applied this powder almost a week ago. It does take a while to absorb into the ground but I could care less it got rid of a copper head I didn’t know was around!

I found a small garden snake in spring residing under bricks in my front yard and decided to try this product. The first thing I noticed was its strong cinnamon scent, which, while potent, wasn't unpleasant to me. The repellent is a very fine powder, lighter than granules, which makes me think it may not last as long, especially in wet conditions. That said, the outcome has been positive—since applying it, I haven't seen any snakes in the treated area. If you’re looking for a natural and effective snake deterrent, this is worth a try, though you may need to reapply more often compared to granular options. Would recommend for light use or areas where snakes are a recurring problem!

We have not seen a snake and i never want to see one either (in the yard) I have contemplated the idea of putting some on my trainers before going hiking! I do not find the smell unpleasant but my hubby does. It really is relative to ones’nose! Need to reapply after rain ! ( we are AZ)

A few months ago, my little miniature schnauzer and I went outside so that she can do her business. She was on her retractable leash as she walked to the flower bed about 10 feet away from me. Suddenly she ran back to me and I noticed she was acting weird. We went back inside and her pupils were huge! She was drooling and panting and pooped as she was laying on the floor. We rushed her to the all night vet. We later learned she was sprayed in her face/mouth by a frog/toad as she likes to go after them. Since that day we have been searching for a solution to deter the frogs from my lawn. This isn’t a frog deterrent BUT apparently, this stuff is an irritant for them. The smell is strong and smells a lot like Red Hot candies or Fireball liquor. My main concern was putting something down that would deter the frogs but not harm my dog or the grass. This is one of the few products that is supposed to deter frogs while not being toxic to your pet or your grass. So far, the lawn and my dog are both fine. The frogs seem to be a lot less active out there at night. I literally haven’t seen any for a few days. I walk the grass at night first with a flashlight before even allowing my dog to go out there just to scare any off but there hasn’t been any. We have been getting a lot of rain so I have to reapply but whatever it takes.

Good Product: 1. This stuff goes along ways. It is a very small particle powder. I have enough to apply around my house and landscaping for another time. 2. It actually smells really good. Smells like cinnamon. 3. The powder is so fine I could see how this stuff would deter anything it got on. It appears that if a snake would go through the treated area, it would easily stick to their scaly skin and irritate the snake. Hopefully the smell alone would deter it as well. 4. I have not seen a snake since I put this product out! Make sure if you have kids you put this down where they cant reach it! The smell of cinnamon from the powder could be deceitful for them to want to get to it.

I read through the reviews and thought there were enough good reviews for me to try it since I don't want to kill the lizard, just want to keep him out of my sanctuary. I put this in my garage and in my florida room. In the garage the lizards run through it without even hesitating. There is only one lizard in my florida room, he has made the place his home! .As you can see in the pictures, the powder is down and he's either hanging out on the screen, on the chair or on the white part at the bottom of the screen. He even hangs out in my plant . . . . . . but he doesn't leave! I thought this stuff would do the trick. It smells nice like cinnamon spices but it's doing nothing to the lizards to deter them. If you do take the plunge and buy this, know you'll have a hard time shaking it out from the container. You'll be better off putting it in something else and shaking from that. Mine had the cap backwards so the shaker side was upside down to shake easily.

It works. I don't want to "jinx" it and walk out tomorrow morning to an Anaconda on my porch, but for some reason, this works. It is safe around my dogs. There are no harmful chemicals, just things that snakes don't like to smell, so they turn around and hit the road. I like it. It is easy to use. But you will need to reapply if it rains, so wait till the rains have gone. I have used both the powder product and another manufacturers pellet product, and I felt that the powder went much further than the pellet. We have a lot of fence lines to cover, so the powder it is. It is easy to just shake along the area you need it in. I also shake some under things like BBQ's and wood piles, places snakes like to go. But so far, cross your fingers, it will work well again this year. We have already had some rattlesnake bites in the community, especially the babies, so it is time. If you have dogs, ask your Vet if they do the Rattlesnake shots. It is not expensive and gives you a better chance at saving your dog should they get bit. You will still need to get the Anti-Venom, but it will give you a longer time to get to an Emergency Clinic. With these two things combined, I hope to have a long, safe summer of fun with the dogs. I hope the same for you.
