๐ถ Fix your guitarโs heart and unleash its soul!
The JLD Bridge Doctor Screw Mount is a patented acoustic guitar accessory designed to counteract bridge bellying by applying adjustable spruce pressure beneath the bridge. This compact, wood-bodied device improves soundboard alignment, enhances sustain and volume, and restores playability by lowering the action. Installation requires drilling a small hole in the bridge, which is then covered with an inlay, making it a semi-permanent yet discreet upgrade favored by vintage guitar enthusiasts.

Cured my Martin guitar in minutes.
Brilliant, dead easy to fit and cured the curves in the sound board of my 17year old Martin guitar. No change in tone and sustain seems longer. Looks like original part of guitar. Recommended 100%.

Amazing product!
This is absolutely incredible. I have a Fender 12 string that I took to a Luthier and he (quite rightly) wrote it off completely. The guitar was stored in an attic for almost 10 years with no case and fully strung (yeah I know, my bad). As a result, the soundboard had bulged out and the action was so high that it was unplayable. The Bridge Doctor was easy to install and has flattened the bulge right down. New set of strings and a setup and itโs almost like new. This product is nothing short of miraculous! Iโm very happy with the final result. The inlay for the screw hole even matches the fret markers.

Fixes those loose bridges
Straightforward to fit and really enhances the sounds of average to middling acoustics. Would use it on a high end instrument as it does modify the harmonic response.

Neat, elegant and unintrusive.
Really elegant and surprisingly effective. I bought a junk 12 String and this has reduced the belly (behind the saddle) by more than half, reduced the dishing (in front of the saddle) by half and made the guitar feel resonant and confident. Not bad for a fifty bucks barn find. Belly reduced by over 75 percent I am not a craftsman, I am a careful DIYer. You will need to locate the right imperial Allen key but other than that I needed a 2mm drill and a countersink bit. That was it! Some pics

Awesome bit of kit as long as you are prepared to drill into the bridge of your beloved guitar
I would say that this product is designed for those that are quite hands on and really skilled at DIY or to purchase and to give to a luthier to install for you. i sat with the provided instructions in hand and worked out exactly what i needed to do, made sure i had all the correct tools at hand and the correct drill sizes available to me, then performed a dry run to make sure I could place all the parts easily inside the guitar easily, the actually instillation takes no more than five mins and once correctly installed the adjustment to straighten the bridge is very easy to make, and is so satisfying to see a once sunken bridge now perfectly perpendicular, however also be aware that once the adjustment has been made the likelihood is that your Guitar will need a complete set up from scratch including truss rod adjustment to get it into perfect playing order, so if you install the bridge doctor yourself you need to be able to feel confident that you can also set up your guitar afterwards. If you are not confident then please don't attempt to install it your self as it would be easy to accidently drill right though your guitar bridge with the larger of the two drill bits required, which would stop you being able to install the Bridge doctor. I have been setting up my own guitars for 30 years, I'm also really into DIY and a have a large selection of tool at my disposal so i was very happy to install the bridge doctor myself. there is some discussion that the bridge doctor can actually improve the tone of your instrument allowing the top to vibrate more freely on a solid wood top, put it this way it certainly doesn't effect the tone negatively in any way and it is difficult to quantify but i do think that i might indeed have an added sparkle to the tone that was previously not present a highly recommended product that definitely worked on my guitar

Excellent Product
A proven product. I bought two. One to correct a 12-string with belly-bulge and another to prevent belly bulge developing on another 12 string. Worked perfectly!
