LectroFan - Fan Sound and White Noise Machine

I've been using it for a few months now, mostly at night but in my earlier apartment during the day also - there was a noisy company working next door right outside my window. This machine made life more tolerable for me. I am using one of the white noise settings, in the middle of the range - it has some bass and some treble, if you know what i mean. This is very different from the other (cheaper) white noise machines I tried before - they were both tinny, high-pitched. This unit manages to deliver some bass as well (I guess that explains why it's heavy). Highly recommended, if you can afford the price. Oh and it can go really loud too.

This item works for me even on low volume. Plenty of white noise and fan modes (10 of each) to find one that suits you. If you have a problem sleeping due to external noises, neighbours, traffic, wind, etc. and can't take to ear plugs it is worth a try. Note the unit comes with the USA connector on the charging lead, it has to be removed by simply untwisting it before you can fit the UK adaptor, this isn't explained with the instructions.

This thing did what it said it does. If you have a bad neighbour that plays loud music with base this sadly won't quite fix the problem. A good firm knock with a who cares what happens next will prove a better option.

This is my second Electrofan of this model and the wiring is improved over the last one which I loved and which lasted 10 years when the wiring seemed delicate and broke away from the adapted when I gently tried to unplug it. The wiring on this seems more substantial. I love the product itself and use it every night, including when I travel. The sound can be increased in volume. This is a smallish attractive looking unit that is simple to use and is very effective in masking noise. I have used other products that were not as effective and with an over abundance of sounds that I did not feel necessary for my use. Great product and highly recommend it to those needing white noise to sleep, such as I do.

I looked all over the Internet for a sound machine. I do not enjoy animal, rain or outdoor noises, I LOVE the sound of a fan or window air conditioner unit. If you do, buy this one! I was super impressed with the fan sound options, Sounds identical to my summer air conditioner. I actually bought this because there was a comment from someone else saying it sounds like their fan. That's exactly what I wanted, and why I've left a review to help others. I'm Canadian and my skin cannot afford to have a fan on it with our harsh winter temperatures. It blocks out the noise from traffic and other humans in my house.The machine has no lights emitting from it, it's a nice size, and I personally enjoy the 24 hour feature. (These were all things I was very specific in finding)This product is a 10/10 for me.UPDATE: 5 months later and this machine is still the best purchase I've ever made. I absolutely love this sound machine. I used to fall asleep with my tv on for the noise, but after buying a health tracker band that tracks my sleep quality, the tv was no longer an option. I bought this and within a few days I felt much more rested and my tracker showed the difference in sleep.I turn it on when I'm getting ready to go to bed, select the one sound I always use, and leave it on until I wake up and switch it off. (One time I left it on, you couldn't hear it from the hallway but it was still a loud setting in my room. But the surprise was, the machine wasn't hot and I was gone for 12 hours!) I will be bringing this with me on my upcoming road trip for hotel sleep. It truely has improved my sleep and energy levels.
