Pentel Hi-Graph 4 mm Fixed Barrel Mechanical Pencil 0.3 mm Red

I have been using this pencil for 20 years. It’s never go wrong with them. Love it, love how comfortable to drawing my wedding designs.

Probably one of the best drafting pencils you'll ever have if you love very fine lines. Since this pencil is quite fine, I recommend using a softer lead (B/HB) so it's easier to see your handwriting if you plan to use these in class.

I love the fact that the pencil in 0.3 lead (that's what I bought it for). One concern I had when making the purchase was that the grip would be uncomfortable and I wouldn't want to use the pencil anymore. That wasn't the case at all; I can feel the individual scales of the grip, but they're not bothersome. While I'm not experienced with other drafting pencils, this is a very light and slim pencil that's wonderful to work with.

It's more of a tomato soup color in person, but it matches the other colors in the set really well. The most annoying colored part is actually the short barrel section that extends from the top of the body, where the cap sits. It's a really weird dark, desaturated mustard color. One reason for the grip is to assist as you turn the pencil in your hands to use the sharpest point of the chiseled graphite tip. If you plan to use your pencil this way, the printing on the barrel will probably fade quickly as it rubs your hand during the turns. Just something to be aware of. Anyway, for detail work the larger 0.5mm size doesn't always do the job. This pen is light and well-balanced. I enjoy using it.

didn't work at all. Couldn't get lead to come out of the tip, even after cleaning it with a wire I have from another brand. It wasn't worth the trouble to return it but a major disappointment.

You're gonna break a lot of leads with this pencil. It's well made, but it taught me that 3mm is just too thin for anything but maybe some specialized uses that I'm not familiar with. Used it once and put into the drawer where it's stayed since.

Good quality mechanical pencil with a nice weight. The fine lead is quite strong and gives a sharp, consistent line without the need to sharpen. There is also a replaceable eraser making this makes it ideal for sketching. I've bought more, plus different lead hardnesses to make a great travel set.

Dışı plastik, mekanizma ise metal. Her basmada ucu 0,4 mm kadar dışarı itiyor, gercekten mekanizma çok hassas bu konuda. Uç kırmıyor, dikey olarak ne kadar bastirirsaniz bastirin uc icine kaçmıyor. Kalem icine 20 tane yedek uc rahatlikla konulabilir. Ucundaki igne seklindeki metal icine girebiliyor olsaydi tasimasi rahat olurdu ancak uç kısım sabit. 2022 Haziran - Ekleme: 0.3 kalem uçları çok pahalandı, 1 tüp uç (içinde 12 adet tek uç var) 10-15 liraya satılır oldu, çocuklara sürekli kullanım için almıştım ancak uç fiyatları nedeniyle aynı kalemin 0.5'ini alacağım.

I needed a second set of pencils for College, one set to hold 2b leads and another to hold B leads, so I needed the pencil sets to look different from each other to save confussion. This pencil comes with one HB lead. It holds it's grip on the lead, with no slippage. The pencil feels nice in the hand. Is well balanced and has a little bit of weight behind it. The eraser under the cap, wears down quickly but can be useful if you haven't got a seperate eraser to hand. The pencil looks good and is solidly made, not like a cheap pencil. To retract the lead after uses, press the cap down and push the lead back in. This makes it pocket friendly. You can also get other size pencils in this range. 0.3mm 0.5mm 0.7mm and 0.9mm. These pencils are value for money. Good for School or College. (My other reviews will say the same about other pencils in this range).
