This has to be one of the best salmon rods on the market. I can cast this just as far as a Loop cross s1 with a rio scandi versitip shooting head,Very nice rod at a great price.

I matched it up with a grays GTS500#7/8/9 reel and Grays platinum shooting head system 8/9 floating line .it Is probably the best small river setup I have ever owned
