UPDATE: They are DELICIOUS!
The chili powder tastes very bland and not peppery. All I taste is the tamarind under. This seems to be a stale batch. 😞 UPDATE: I believe something I ate before trying this batch is what caused the chili powder to taste bland & dull. It's now the next day and the candy tastes DELICIOUS! I'm not 100% sure why they tasted the way they did yesterday, but it must have been me, not the sticks. Thank you, Picao!

Nice product and good taste
Everything is fine except the amount of candy per straw is very less. Felt like the straws are bigger in diameter and the layer of candy is very thin. When I had from restaurants… I have to really chew on the candy layers to reach the straw … hence 4 stars

Stale and rotten!
Upon opening they smelled rancid. Definitely had a rancid (almost like rancid oil) taste. I served them at a party and didn’t realize they tasted so awful - no one liked them of course although they had never had them before. Wish I had tried them before putting them out! Now I have to buy real ones for everyone to try because these were so gross! Do not buy!

Delicious!!
The taste is spot on for wha i'm looking for in tamarind candy. If you love sour candy try this spicy, tangy, sweet combination from this particular company.

Eh…….
Delivery was on time, the quality and freshness are good. The flavor is a bit too powdery for me, but that’s just me. Recently was exposed to these treats at a local Mexican restaurant. I should have asked the brand, because these are not the same ones. Overall these are good, just not the ones I wanted.
