Just Friends: A Novel Review: Romance with depth - First of all: I love when a conversation reads natural because of unfinished sentences and stuff like that. As a non-native English speaker/reader, I didn’t expect the kind of vocabulary in a romance book that I encountered in Just Friends. It made it less of a ‘light, quick and easy read’. I love when a story, especially a romance story, has multiple POV’s or timelines. The illustrations at the start of each chapter were so beautiful and truly added value in the distinction between the timelines for me (I’m a visual person). It would have been even better if the multiple timelines were used ‘more’. We stayed in the present a lot and even heard about the past in the present timeline, which felt odd for me because it could have been written in the past POV, for me. Last but not least: there are such beautiful passages in it about grieve. They really hit close to home for me. All things together I really liked the book. It’s a profound debut novel with little notes from me. I would recommend! Review: Great read - Absolutely enjoyed this book

A wonderful book
I couldn’t put it down, a sweet and warm story that was a rollercoaster of emotions (in a good way!) I can’t wait to see if haley writes another book!
