Fendrihan Small 4.6" Sturdy Metal Fine Tooth Barber Pocket Grooming Comb

I got annoyed with a plastic comb slowly losing teeth one by one living in my pocket. I wanted something durable; this comb is just that. It is a solid piece of metal and not the least bit flimsy. Even though its metal the tips of the teeth are soft as butter rubbing again my scalp. It works equally well as a beard comb too. These combs are hand cut and I have notice slight differences in each but the race one is made to exceedingly high standards. Only thing I didn't like is there isn't enough material on the 'handle" area. Another 1/16th of an inch would have been great. With my fat fingers it a bit hard to grip. I have gloriously full head of hair and the spaces between teeth is perfect; the comb glides through my hair gently and effortlessly leaving my hair right where I want it. I know own three Fendrihan combs; two like this and a third that is longer. I carry one of the smaller ones in a pocket, daily. There other short one lives in my travel kit, and the longer one lives in my medicine cabinet with a medium stiff bristled military brush from Fendrihan as well.

Look, it's an aluminum comb. It works just about as good as any pocket comb, except that it doesn't bend or flex when you use it. There is literally no great reason to buy this comb, but I love it. It gets tiny little dents on the side whenever I hit it against my tungsten ring, and I love that. The teeth are rounded beautifully so that it gets that sweet spot of just being able to scratch your head, and I love that. It's shiny, and I love that. But my favorite thing about this comb is the noise it makes when you drop it. There's no guessing where your comb went, because you and everyone within 500 feet definitely heard it hit the floor. And I love that. I've lost like 3 combs already because I didn't notice them falling out of my pocket when I got my wallet out, and with this comb, that will never be an issue again. It is a necessary comb? No. Does it do a better job at being a comb? No. Is there a great reason to buy this over a plastic one from the drug store? No. Is it bougie and extra af? Yes. And I love it.

I have thick hair cut neatly above the collar and ears. But being thick, it has trouble laying down and static is a real hair-raiser. If I don't keep a comb handy I look like a stuck my finger in an electrical socket. This comb can be carried anywhere without worrying about breakage, does not cause static, and feels good on my scalp (If you have a sensitive scalp this may not be the comb for you... but I have hide like a rhino). Quality is very nice and I couldn't be happier with my purchase... well, I could be happier if the sent two for the price of one. That would be cool. :)

Love the sturdy aluminum comb. the teeth are rounded and polished, and there are no snags to my beard. There is no chance of this breaking in the pocket at all. I do wish the metal was polished natural aluminum, and not anodized. edit: i have been carrying this for some time now, and have grown out my beard longer. I am sad to say that there is some snagging. Maybe I did not get snagging before because my beard was shorter. However the comb was cheap, looks nice, is virtually unbreakable, and would last the length of a lifetime. But because of the snagging, i am now carrying around the fendrihan 5" tortoise shell plastic 5" comb. No snags at all. But I do have a draw to something made to last forever.

The light-weight metal makes the combing of my thick and luscious hair easy. Others are jealous of just how thick my blonde locks are, the speed at which it grows so fully over my head, making normal combs weak and inferior. This will be the last comb you will need to purchase with its durable structure. So strong that I was able to use it as a lever to lift a small VW off a hairdresser following an accident in Slone Square. So beautify and shiny Gollum dropped pursuit of the ring to get his hands on this precious. Each tooth handcrafted and cut to perfection, each pass through my amazing hair feels like a massage by the fines fingers of a Swedish massage. Long term use has proven to raise the intelligence level of the user by 50+ points.... It's a good comb.

Works as described It’s aluminum, check It’s a comb, check It’s a thousand times better than the cheap plastic ones and sits well in the pocket. Next purchase, a nice leather case. When I started looking for a new comb, I thought I wanted a steel comb but, aluminum is better, lighter, softer. This is cheaper than a hair cut and is helping me to deal with longer hair than I’m used to.

Took a while to arrive, and the packaging was insane for such a small item. Coulda fitted through the letter box if it wasn't for the packaging. But the item itself is fantastic. Not scratchy at all. Solidly made, and well finished. Should last longer than I do.

This comb is simply the best - fits in your pocket without tearing it - fits in your pocket without bending or breaking - no static - works perfectly for hair, mustache, beard - teeth don't hurt - interestingly enough, it also works for my cat AND it does remove some hair I liked this product so much I bought 4 of this specific model, and another model with a handle from Fendrihan. HIGHLY recommended.

Had the comb for a few months now and it's pretty much perfect. There's no flex or give to the teeth but they're gently rounded at the tips so they nicely massage your scalp where as other metal combs could cut, scratch or otherwise dig in uncomfortably.

Fantastic little pocket comb! Sturdy and costs the same or less than a lot of wooden combs. Using it to keep my beard in check and it does not snag even though I have fairly wavy hair. Really impressed by the detail and rounded off teeth. Super light I forgot it was in my pocket, would but again!
