I have had a few boxes in the past and have bought this one for a spare room,this box itself seems great and after loading a few apks and trying them I am very pleased with the results, the apks seem to work well on the box,picture quality is great and sound seems fine,the box is straight forward to install and use,the only slight reservation I have is the remote control could be better so I would advise a mini keyboard to assist especially if you are doing a lot of online browsing,in saying that I have found most of these boxes fail in this area so this isn't a big deal,living in hopes that at some point these company's will resolve this continuous problem and make a descent remote,don't get me wrong it works but can be very annoying and slow.as for how long this box will last only time will tell seeing I have only just started using it.price wise this is in my opinion a good buy.Update to my review i have now decided to update my review due to a longer time using the box,it has handled everything so far that i have chucked at it and am now even more impressed even the remote seems better now i have got used to it,however i would still advise a mini keyboard for ease as i would any box of this type.but i really cannot fault this box so 10/10

My second "budget" android box and I'm very impressed. Easy to set up and connect to my WiFi (in separate room from router so not possible to use cable) and signal is good. Picture quality is very good, obviously quality can vary depending on what apps I'm using but for official apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, etc the picture is excellent. Can easily download and install apk files via the browser.My only small gripe is the remote - the pointer is slow to move around the screen but for all the time I use it compared to the direction buttons, I can live with it.

This device is absolutely useless. It is extremely difficult select the program you want to watch within an app, it can't use apps like Disney Plus an the picture quality is just unwatchable.

I've had android boxes for many years so far this is a very good little box. Set up as I wanted it in minutes. Only down downside is running it on WiFi is sluggish and lags, but most boxes are even expensive 1s. This is why only 4 stars. Hard wire it and its just as good as any other box I've had. Can't comment on its life span. Would recommend.

I was trying to find an unrooted Android TV box as the video streaming services I use can't work on rooted devices. After downloading an app from the Play Store to try and unroot it, the device was rebooted on its own and is now stuck on the first logo screen.Why wasn't this mentioned anywhere in the description?Update: since we couldn't find a solution to my problem, the company has refunded me. I'm putting 3 stars for this even though they couldn't even provide a link to their firmware (the website it landed was all in Chinese and the result it returned was that I wasn't quick enough or something). I give them 3 stars for effort but the thing is, the box never worked for me and I lost three weeks going back and forth with their support service.

Had something very similar to this before which worked great so got this for another tv.The hdmi cable did not work. Was messing around for ages trying to get it to work before realising it was the cable!Finally got it working using my own cable. The software is very slow and lagging so tried several times to update... It just said "checking for update" nothing else!Anyways, tried the pre installed kd player (kodi) with some movies on a sandisk usb stick and it was pretty good. Then i tried a wd my passport hd with alot of movies on and the whole unit just kept freezing and stuttering, it just couldn't cope!Wifi and ethernet connected fine without issuesDidn't try any of the other apps.Remote extremely cheap but no issues.No good for me so returned.

Excellent little android streaming box, installation was a breeze - literally plug everything in, power up, go network settings if you are using wifi rather than a wired network and input your password. 1080p locally sourced media plays smoothly with no artefacts and the included remote is easy to use. Then only extra that might be useful is an additional remote with keyboard if you need to input much text, e.g. Web surfing. These are available for not much more than £10.
