Amazon Basics 24-Pack D Cell All-Purpose Alkaline Batteries, 1.5 Volt, 5-Year Shelf Life

These batteries don't have an exciting job, but they absolutely deserve some recognition.I'd bought my nephew a megaphone as part of the ongoing prank war between my brother and me, where we compete to give each other's children the loudest, most irritating presents imaginable. There was no way I was going to leave him waiting for batteries. The Amazon Basics D cells worked perfectly straight out of the box and powered the megaphone all day without any sign of fading. That's really all you can ask for.Good value for money, individually packaged, and it's always handy to have a supply of D batteries in the house because so many larger toys seem to need them. Most importantly, they ensured the megaphone could start annoying my brother immediately rather than after a trip to the shops. Money well spent.

The Amazon Basics D Cell Alkaline Batteries (12-Pack) are exactly what you want for everyday devices that need dependable power. They work well in things like torches, toys, clocks, and other household items, delivering consistent performance without any issues. Battery life has been solid, and it’s reassuring to know they have a long shelf life, making them ideal to keep stored for emergencies as well as regular use.The packaging is simple and frustration-free, and the value is excellent compared to branded alternatives. If you need a bulk pack of standard D batteries and don’t want to overpay, these make a lot of sense. They’re not rechargeable, but for single-use batteries they do the job reliably and efficiently.Best for:• Torches, toys, and household devices• Emergency kits and spares• Anyone wanting good value bulk batteriesDependable, long-lasting, and good value.

Value for money

Excellent batteries at a great price. I bought these for my torch and portable radio, and they've performed very well. They last a long time, provide reliable power, and are excellent value for money compared to other brands. A great product that I would happily buy again

Good battery and reasonable price

Preciso e affidabile

I’ve been using these D batteries in several devices around the house — mainly in our large flashlight and an automatic air freshener — and they’ve been excellent. The power output is consistent, and they seem to last much longer than some of the off-brand batteries I’ve tried in the past. What I appreciate most is that they come well-packaged with a good expiration date, so I know I can store the extras without worrying about them degrading. I’ve had zero issues with leaking or corrosion, even after extended use.For the price, quality, and reliability, these batteries are a great value. I’ll definitely be purchasing again when I need a fresh batch.✅ Pros:• Long battery life• No leaks• Great value for the quantity• Works well in high-drain devicesHighly recommend if you’re looking for dependable D batteries!

Great alkaline batteries at a great price.
