hot Water Bottle with Cover 2L

I'm a lifelong fan of a good hot water bottle (preferred over electric heating pads). This is a good product for the price.

I bought a second one. Put 3/4 dish soap and 1/4 rubbing alcohol inside and the don't quite freeze into a brick, they stay somewhat pliable, and stay cold a very long time. I use them as a lumbar support in the car and they keep you cool in hot summers. Great all-round ice pack.

Easy to fill. No leaks. Soft enough. It is warm rubber against your feet, so you may have to keep repositioning it. It seems to radiate its heat for a long time. Do what we learned to do as boy scouts: wrap the hot item (like a campfire heated rock back then) in an old towel or t-shirt. It will keep you from discomfort, and let your feet breathe instead of being pressed against rubber or plastic.

This heating bottle looks really nice and easy to open and close. I was so excited to have received it but, immediately I opened it, the whole room was filled with the latex-rubber smell. I immediately soaked it in warm soapy water. I actually left it in water for two days trying to get rid of the smell. After it air-dried, I tried using it again, but it didn't help. The thing is that I am allergic to latex. Coming in contact with anything latex gives me hives, rashes, and redness. Therefore, if you are allergic to rubber or latex, this product is not for you. I trashed it on day 3. Overall, the product is fantastic. I would have given it a 5 star, but I just could not deal with the latex rubber.

This is the best purchase I’ve made in 2021! Who knew a hot water bottle could be so amazing? My body has responded much better to this heat source as opposed to an electric heating pad. It’s practically become my “woobie” 😂 I simply fill it with freshly boiled water and the heat lasts for at least 4 hours. No leaks, no muss, no fuss! *note: only use hot water from the tap if the cover is removed as it will be too hot.
