This tape is good it refracts the sunlight very well and does help keep the birds off until the seeds germinate, would buy again.

No a tape a it only works if windy and sunny. We attached a lot to my children’s swing and slide set to deter pigeons and was shocked to see them flock round more pecking at it. Have it 3 stars as when it’s really windy the noise seems to work to keep them away

There are many bird repellents. This is one of the best. Most of them do not work because animals are not scared of them. What makes this different is the rattling sound in the wind. What I do is cut a stretch of a meter of this, tie it to a pole and it rattles in the wind keeping birds away.

The pigeon basically sits next to it as if the tape was not even there. Waste of money and material.

I am hoping the reflective sides are working but don't want to speak to soon! I bought doubled sided sticky tape to attach it to my balcony railing. It has held tight. I have only had 1 pigeon ( that I was aware of) that sat on the ledge at the bottom, which was soon after I put it on. So maybe it took time to work. I have spikes on the balcony but beforehand they flew over the top of them onto my balcony. But now the reflective tape blows in the wind, it does seem to be deterring them, fingers crossed!!! It also wraps itself around the spikes in the wind, I am 6 floors up not for from the river so the winds does carry across. People walking past on the street seemed to be more aware of the noise of it fluttering in the wind, so on a negative side, it is noisy when you are living in a block of flats to the people either side of me. But my blood pressure has gone down as there is less pigeon mess on the balcony floor to clean up. But more so they nest every 2 months and always try to nest on my balcony and so far there's been no sign of them.

I have found this very effective at deterring birds from my garden. I set this up using quite long lengths at various places in the garden at points where it will reflect the sun and catch the wind. It's effectiveness is enhanced with the flashing effect in the sun and the metallic rustling noise made in the wind, so position the tape carefully. Note that this particular brand is not plasticised, so tears easily.

Bought to attach to cherry trees as the birds previously strip the fruit in a matter of hours when ripe. It was working really well until the cherries turned red and then the birds ignored the tape and took the fruit. Next year may add the tape just a few days before the fruit turns. However, there is a plus I put some on the gates that pigeons spent ages on making a mess, I attached two pieces about a foot long seems to have done the trick they have never returned. I used double sided tape to make neat attachment.

Purchase this and hang it on five different poles. this one lasted about 4-5 months and i purchased another brand due to price. Other brand became transparent in a week and started to be shredded in week 2 now bits and pieces all over the hay patch. buy this brand it is a good product.

Liked it. Split the ribbon down the middle and got double the amount. Tied it on the branches of fruit trees and has worked great so far.
