I never knew about cake gel before this, but when I started using CCDS cake gel, this is always my first choice. Great product and reliable price..

Good for texture but not for volume
I tried eggless vanilla cake using the gel. It gave a really great texture to the cake, almost identical to what you buy from a bakery. The cake was soft and moist. But it didn't contribute much in increasing the volume. Need to try now with eggs and see how it turns out.
