great quality
he DJI Mic 3 has exceeded my expectations. Setup took only a couple of minutes, and it paired flawlessly with my camera and phone. The audio is crisp, clear, and professional, even in windy or noisy environments. The adaptive gain control does a great job keeping the volume balanced without constant adjustments. The charging case is a huge plus, providing plenty of battery life for long recording sessions. I also appreciate how lightweight the transmitters are—they're comfortable to wear and barely noticeable on camera. Whether you're creating YouTube videos, vlogging, recording interviews, or making social media content, this is an outstanding microphone system. Highly recommended and well worth the investment!

Crisp, Compact, and Creator-Ready: DJI Mic 3 Shines for Pro-Level Audio
🎤 First Impressions & Design From the moment I unpacked the DJI Mic 3, I was struck by how sleek and compact the system is. The transmitters weigh in at just ~16 g (with the magnet), making them incredibly light and discreet to wear. The receiver is also compact and nicely finished, with a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen and a rotating dial that make adjustments intuitive. The included charging case is elegant and functional—everything nests cleanly, and the case itself acts as an extended battery bank. The build quality feels premium throughout. None of the parts feel cheap or overly plasticky. The magnetic clips, removable via magnets, add versatility in how you mount or angle the transmitters. ⸻ 🎧 Connectivity & Compatibility One of the strong suits of the Mic 3 is how it connects across devices. It supports: • A locking 3.5mm TRS output for cameras and other gear • A 3.5mm TRRS monitoring/line output • USB-C for direct digital connects • Bluetooth 5.4 for direct pairing with phones (iPhone, etc.) Because of this range of connectivity, I had no trouble hooking the Mic 3 into my Pocket 3, ZV-E10 / M2, and iPhone 16 Pro. It “just works” across platforms. DJI also touts integration with their OsmoAudio ecosystem, allowing certain DJI cameras to pair directly with transmitters (bypassing the receiver) when desired. ⸻ 🔊 Audio Quality & Features Clarity & Reliability The audio is impressively clear, with excellent detail and natural tone. Voices come through crisp without harshness, even when slightly off-axis. I tested in various environments—indoors, outdoors, in echo-prone rooms—and the performance held up. 32-bit Float + Dual-File Recording Each transmitter supports internal recording in dual-file mode (24-bit + 32-bit float). This gives a safety net against clipping—if peaks happen, the float track can save the day. Transmitters include 32 GB of storage. Adaptive Gain, Voice Presets & Noise Cancelling The Mic 3 introduces adaptive gain control (Automatic and Dynamic modes) to help prevent distortion from sudden loud spikes. Additionally, there are voice tone presets (e.g. Regular, Rich, Bright) so you can tailor the sonic character on the fly. A two-level active noise cancellation option helps reduce ambient interference (air conditioning, background hum) without sabotaging the core vocal. Range & Stability Wireless range claims are up to 400 m line-of-sight. In practice, even with moderate obstructions, the signal held steady at the typical distances I use (within studio, outdoors, etc.). The dual-band (2.4 + 5.8 GHz) frequency hopping helps avoid interference in congested RF environments. Timecode / Multi-Camera Capabilities For creators working multi-camera shoots, DJI supports up to 4 transmitters per receiver and linking of multiple receivers (up to 8). Timecode support is included to help sync audio across multiple units and makes it easier to integrate into editing workflows. ⸻ ⏱️ Battery Life & Practical Use • Transmitters: ~10 hours (under typical usage) • Receiver: ~8 hours • With the charging case, total usable time extends to ~28 hours. • The quick-charge capability is useful: a short ~5-minute top-up gives ~2 hours of added runtime. In my use, I rarely ran out of battery mid-session, even on longer shoots. The case is also handy as a portable charger when I’m traveling or filming away from power sources. ⸻ 👍 Pros & 👎 Cons (Why I Gave It 5 Stars) Pros • Outstanding audio clarity and tonal character • Internal recording ensures redundancy and safety • Compact, lightweight transmitters that are comfortable for extended periods • Seamless multi-device connectivity (camera, phone, etc.) • Robust wireless range and interference avoidance • Feature-rich — adaptive gain, voice presets, noise cancellation, timecode, multi-transmitter support • Strong battery life and practical charging case Cons • The transmitters are lighter than some premium, heavier mics; holding a “heftier” mic still gives a satisfying physical feel • No 3.5mm input on the transmitters (i.e. you can’t plug in an external lavalier to them) — something some professionals may miss. • For users already deeply invested in mic systems, the switch to Mic 3 demands adaptation • As of now, US availability is still somewhat uncertain (depending on region/distributor) None of these drawbacks feel like deal breakers to me given how strong the overall package is. ⸻ 🎯 Final Thoughts & Use Cases For content creators, vloggers, filmmakers, podcasters, and anyone needing reliable wireless audio across multiple platforms, the DJI Mic 3 is a standout. Its balance of portability, features, and audio fidelity is superb. It particularly shines when you want one mic system to handle camera work and direct-to-phone audio. Connecting to Pocket 3, ZV-E10/M2, and iPhone 16 Pro with minimal fuss, all with consistent quality, is a luxury. The internal recording backup gives peace of mind, especially in unpredictable shoot conditions. If you prioritize a bit more weight or want lav mic inputs on transmitters, this may not fully replace every tool in your kit. But for most creators, it’s close to ideal — a 5-star audio companion.

DJI Mic 3 is Absolutely Next Level - Crystal Clear Audio!
The DJI Mic 3 is hands down one of the best wireless mic systems I've ever used. The 2 TX + 1 RX setup is perfect for interviews or dual-person recording, and the range is impressive — I've had zero dropouts even at distance. The audio quality is crystal clear, whether I'm recording with my camera, iPhone, or Android device. The charging case is super smart — it keeps both transmitters and the receiver charged and ready to go. Setup is quick and intuitive, and switching between devices is seamless. The compact form factor means it doesn't get in the way during shoots. If you're serious about audio quality for video content or interviews, the DJI Mic 3 is absolutely worth the investment. Could not be happier with this purchase!

Easiest upgrade to amateur phone videos!
These little mics are fantastic! The quality is much better than the built-in mics in an action, iphone, DSLR, or mirrorless camera. They record onto flash memory that's in each mic remote, so there's no risk if you lose connection, you can put that audio in your video in post. There are deadcats for wind noise reduction. There's a unit that plugs directly into your iPhone or Android and puts the mics' audio into the video you're shooting (no recording made in the mics, in this case, so be careful!). The remote can also control mic settings. The case holds several charges for the mics. Each mic has a clip and a magnet for mounting, so you can use either. They are easy to use and to understand. Videos with great sound really pop! Highly recommended!

DJI Mic 3 2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case Wireless Microphone
Studio-Quality Sound in Your Pocket. The DJI Mic 3 (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) is the kind of gear that makes you feel like a full production crew… even if you’re just filming in your living room. This kit doesn’t just record audio, it elevates it. Right out of the case, everything feels sleek, compact, and ready for action. The charging case is a game-changer, keeping everything organized and powered up so you can jump into recording without fumbling around. It’s the kind of setup that quietly says, “Yeah, I’ve got this.” Sound quality is where this system really flexes. Voices come through crisp, clean, and professional with impressive clarity, even in less-than-ideal environments. The built-in noise canceling and adaptive gain control work behind the scenes like a skilled audio engineer, balancing levels and keeping things smooth without you needing to babysit it. The dual transmitters make it perfect for interviews, podcasts, or two-person content, and the wireless performance is rock solid. You can move around freely without worrying about dropouts, and the internal backup recording adds that extra layer of security for important takes. Another standout feature is how lightweight and discreet the transmitters are. They clip on easily, stay out of the way, and don’t feel bulky or distracting during long sessions. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference when you’re recording for extended periods. If there’s anything to nitpick, it’s that advanced users might miss a few traditional features found in older systems, but honestly, what you gain in portability, smart features, and ease of use more than makes up for it. Overall, this kit feels like carrying a tiny sound studio in your pocket—powerful, polished, and incredibly convenient. Whether you’re a content creator, vlogger, or just someone who wants their audio to sound top-tier, this is an easy five-star pickup.

One of the best mics out there!
When you think DJI, you think drones. But DJI makes so much more. This mic system is just one example of the quality of their products. This mic system comes with 2 wireless mics and a receiver. It's case is a rechargeable battery for the mics and receiver. Of course it's an all digital transmission system. The quality of the sound these mics pick up is unbelievable. If your a content creator this works by plugging in the receiver to either USB C or a standard mini headphone jack into your camera system, phone or you can record directly to the receiver itself. The battery seems to last forever but the case recharges everything in no time. This system can handle 4 mics total so if you need more you can add 2 more. I highly recommend to anyone who needs a high quality mic system any don't want to settle for anything but the best.

I'm in love with this mic
I am blown away by the DJI Mic 3. This is my first ever microphone that I've invested in and I am so happy I went with this. I film in my small apartment which has a wall AC and air purifier that you can hear blasting through any mic. The noise cancellation feature built directly into the mic is a game and life changer. It auto manages those insanely loud background noises with ease. It's like it was edited by a professional except I didn't do any work apart from ensuring the noise cancellation mode is on. What a dream. For the quality it brings, it is incredibly compact, portable, and surprisingly light weight with all the accessories in the pouch. Super easy to store in bags. It's compatible with my mirrorless camera, smart phone, and other DJI products that I have. The built-in features is incredibly versatile, meaning, there's a lot it can help you with audio-wise. It feels high quality and made well, like I'm proud to own one and wear on my chest. Only thing is that the DJI logo on the mic is pretty prominent--more conspicuous than its mini counterpart. But I've found that since it works so well, I don't mind wearing the brand loud and proud. Again, I'm in love with this mic. If you're on the fence about getting it, don't be. This is the mic you should settle on. Also, the learning curve was not too steep. Make sure you download the corresponding app to get all the instructional videos. Once you've played around with it and watched the videos, it becomes rather intuitive to use.

Great unit but buy with caution, some features you expect are missing!
Caution NO Mic Jack for Lav Mic! The sound quality is excellent but huge challenge is the units are so small that they DJI decided to not make this version with a 3.5MM headphone jack so even though much smaller you can’t hide them under clothes and use a less noticeable or hidden lav mic. This seemingly small thing is a huge issue because the transmitters although small also have an off white DJI logo so they stand out on someone’s shirt or jacket. They also made these super tiny and although small is nice they went too small as it’s just tiny buttons and not necessary. Add the 3.5MM jack back and make them slightly larger so people with larger hands can easily operate. Lastly, the little magnets they come with are not designed to stay on the transmitters when charging like versions 1 and 2. The video says to put them inside the charge case but they attract to each other and don’t stay put. Again super small so harder if you want to easily maneuver. I lost 2 magnets on first shoot because there is no easy and logical place to keep them. I never lost magnets with v1 or 2 they were well designed. I have had no issue yet but the clips on the transmitters are also magnetic so I’m worried if brushed or hit lightly at some point they just fall off so I don’t believe it’s the best design. Speaking of design, the little cover on the bottom of the receiver where you can attach the usb adapter to plug into your iPhone now requires you push a button on the side to release. My first shoot I could not get it off and did not realize so I forced it off. With all the work to make the receiver magnetic, this seems like a bad design but I guess it helps make sure that connection is tight. All in all I like these but I’m keeping my v2 charged in my case as I will deal but don’t love the lack of a lav mic 3.5MM adapter. I expected the USB connection might enable a mic like the iPhone does but I have read nothing on that and don’t have a usb mic to test. I will research that option however. Lastly I do love the concept that 4 transmitters can pair with one receiver. And if I read correctly you can also pair transmitters with more than one receiver, which if correct means I can have identical audio files paired with each camera. I have not tested this so can’t confirm but if true would be amazing and it solves 2 issues I have. 1 is needing to interview multiple people at a time and second having clean audio files with each video source. Lastly the quality of my first couple recordings was exceptional so I like 80% of the new design just add the mic, fix the magnets, and make units and controls a little larger for easier handling.

You won’t regret buying these over some other cheaper models.
Simple to use, good quality and very professional. Timecode and 32 bit recordings were very important for me and it delivers. While doing professional recordings inside, i had the necessity for a system that could continuously change frequencies when in a public building and it does so flawlessly. The only option it doesn’t have is the possibility to connect an external Lavalier mic to the transmitter but that wasn’t an issue for myself for the time being. You wont regret this purchase.

Game-Changer for Professional Content Creation
I've used several wireless microphone systems over the years, and the DJI Mic 3 is easily one of the best investments I've made for video production. The audio quality is crystal clear, the connection is incredibly stable, and the Adaptive Gain Control does a fantastic job of keeping voices balanced even when recording in dynamic environments. The charging case is compact and convenient, making it easy to carry on shoots, and the battery life is outstanding I can get through an entire day of filming without worrying about power. Setup is quick, and it works seamlessly with my camera, phone, and other devices. Whether you're a filmmaker, vlogger, content creator, or business professional recording interviews and presentations, this microphone delivers professional-grade results with minimal effort. Pros: ✔ Excellent sound quality ✔ Reliable wireless connection ✔ Long battery life ✔ Easy to use and set up ✔ Premium build quality Highly recommended for anyone serious about creating high-quality content. DJI has absolutely nailed it with the Mic 3
