Super secure! Much better quality than expected - I love the rubber pads that protect the chain when clipped. Great value for the money and looks expensive - matches my 18K gold chain just fine and has held strong when clasped without issue.

Great quality and does the job perfectly. Someone noted to be careful with the little rubber piece - it could pop out but they give you a spare piece for each size so that's a nice bonus. I would have preferred it in gold as I don't tend to wear silver jewelry but it's not a deal breaker. I've shown you an image of it back to front so you can see how secure it is.

This is a great invention and I am surprised there are any additional options out there of this sort. I purchased this to shorten a thick 5mm chain. It works well as a short term solution and gives me the flexibility to wear the chain at different lengths. The gold is a good match for the chain. And the embellishments are pretty although mostly hidden by my hair.
