Master anatomy by coloring it in!" Grantโs Anatomy Coloring Book uses an interactive approach to help students deepen and reinforce their anatomical knowledge. Integrating visual and kinesthetic learning activities with an efficient, high-yield review of essential information, itโs the perfect way for students to deepen their grasp of the anatomy they need to know for their courses, labs, and exams! Combines realistic, dissection-based illustrations from the award-winning Grantโs Atlas of Anatomy with descriptive text highlighting key features such as attachments, innervation, and relationships. Prompts you to identify important and relevant structures in each coloring-book illustration, with additional structures pre-labeled to help you achieve orientation and recognize key relationships. Presents structures regionally, in the same sequence in which they are revealed during dissection. Follows the same chapter organization as Grantโs Atlas of Anatomy and Grantโs Dissector โ making it easy to use in conjunction with these authoritative resources. Review: Leaning by color still works - Used this while taking a cadaver lab. Other students who saw it bought it. Goes with he dissection manual we used. Review: Loved this - Helps with anatomy and retaining information of structures

Only one con and many pros for this detailed coloring book.
The only con, which is why it got 4 stars: *This book is NOT organized by systems (which is how every class is taught). It is organized by areas of the body (back, upper limb, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and perineum, lower limb, head, neck, and cranial nerves). The first photo is the Table of Contents so you can see how this book is organized. You could go through the Table of Contents and highlight each system in a different color. Which I started with the Skeletal System and highlighted it in yellow. *It does not have histology, which most of these types of books do not have. Not really a con for me but thought it should be mentioned. Pros: *It is detailed. *The left page always has a numbered name and description. The right always has the drawing and numbered lines pointing to a specific part. *It is detailed. *It has the male and female reproduction systems. *It is detailed. *There are occasional clinical notes for common things like plantar fascitis, deviated septum, and popliteal aneurysm for a few examples. *Did I mention it is detailed? I would recommend this book, unless not having it in order of systems is going to bother you.
