NICOR Lighting 6 inch White Recessed Shower Trim with Albalite Lens (17505)

The springs are strong, the cover is quality, and the size is truly 6 inches. There is no light in it, as it is only a cover, but the look of it is industrial. The white blends in with the ceiling. It is easy to install if you have straight sided cans. The material is nice, and the Albalite lens scatters the light well.

Our's began to yellow and the plastic connectors that hold them in place dry-rotted and crumbled away. These are the perfect replacement and seem better built than the ones our cheap builder used on our house. The size fits perfectly too.

We purchased these to put on older high hats in the kitchen to give a more finished look than having the light bulbs showing with space between the bulb and the sides of the holes in the ceiling. I am so glad we did! The ceiling looks much more polished. The light is still just as bright, and the cover did not change the color or tone of the lighting at all. They were extremely easy to install and went on in less than 2 minutes each (not counting the time it took me to find a ladder). It is simply a matter of removing the bulb, removing the old rim, replacing the bulb, then putting this in by sticking the metal parts into the can and pushing the rim up. They were more cost-effective by far than what was available in my local big box store, so we are very happy with this purchase

Worked well and fit perfect

I bought this as a replacement item for a Juno pot light in the shower. The plastic shower trim on the original had become brittle over time and the mountings for the springs snapped when I went to change the bulb. I really didn't think I'd be able to get a replacement so easily, but this product has the exact dimensions of the old part. It took a minute to install and fits snugly in the space. This product appears to be made of metal, though, so I don't foresee any future problems with brittleness. As to the price, CDN $40 after tax? A bit steep perhaps, but next day delivery of a good replacement makes it worth the money.

My shower room's light is the old fashioned one with bulb(not LED ones), and I accidentally broke the cover/trim and had searching a while before I was told of this one. Fit perfectly and easy to install (I am not a handy man). Only thing is it is pretty expensive, esp. if you compare it to the newer LED light(the whole light is only slightly more expensive than the trim I bought).

It was an urgent situation. The one in the shower, plastic broke both sides. Scrap. This old style unreplaceable. Nothing around. Full (& horrible) full install only, LED unit the only option, hated it. Checked Amazon. This bezel measured perfectly online. Purchased it & it fit exactly. Very expensive, but beggars can't be choosers. Very good quality & 2 day delivery. Now back in business. If you are in the same situation, this is your answer. But bite the bullet on cost.
