Outback Trading - Mens Overlander Vest

This is a beautiful vest. I ordered the medium for my husband who does wear a medium, but I was concerned because too often vests are so oversized that you have to size way down. This one is perfect for him (6 feet tall, 165 pounds). It's not tight at all, but just fits in a flattering way. More importantly it doesn't swim on him as many vests do, with huge armhole openings. So when I rate this as fitting "as expected," I really mean that it fits "as hoped."The vest is good for a sporty look, for wind resistance, and overall manly appearance. I'm only saying this slightly tongue-in-cheek.

Love it. Outback trading does not make this style in a woman's cut. Perfect for working outside in South East Georgia. Gardening,hiking, fishing and exploring. Well made and true to size.

Well here it is! the Outback Trading Co's Overlander vest fits true to size; plenty of pockets to store my gear while out and about; flannel lining makes it very warm and comfortable. Very solid construction and it came with extra buttons (just in case). If you want a great looking and comfortable oilskin vest, then this is the one!

These vests are extremely high quality "field" jackets. they look like leather and sort of feel like it but they are oil cloth. Slightly stiff upon opening they soften up after wearing. They are useful for hiking, adventure, field work, etc but look great if you prefer not to take on the outback. This brand is available at many stores but amazon had the best price. My dad, husband and brother in law all have these and are thrilled.

I like this vest. It is well made and quality. I'm glad a read other reviews before purchasing. The size runs smaller, at least it did in my case. I normally wear a large but ordered an XLarge and glad I did. It fits great and I will get a lot of use out of it. Also, other reviews stated the two front top pockets are a bit small. This is true but they are functional. I keep my iPhone it one. I am pleased with my purchase.

This is a mens vest not a women's.

Fits great, looks good, and pretty warm. I can work outside in a downpour, arms free allow plenty of movement And stay dry! Not the plastic like crinkly sound you get from most of the newer rain gear, quiet, warm, dry! Great investment for a long, dry, friend that will share your new adventures with.
