Staedtler Stick 430 M-9 Medium Ballpoint Pen - Pack of 10 (Black)

IN the past, I used to buy the local ball points from Indian cos - costing between Rs 5 and Rs.10. Almost all of them leaked, smudged the paper and the ink quality was poor. Though STAEDTLER is almost 3 times the price, it is long lasting, smooth writing, no smudging, leaking, has a nice grip and the ink quality is superior. As an Indian you will hesitate to spend more money on a ball point but once you take the leap of faith, you will realise what you missed! Mind you, this ball point is imported, so attracts import duty, so the slightly higher cost, but gives more bang for your money. Even foreign companies like Reynolds have spoiled their name in India by partnering with Indian companies and now look at their poor quality!

I dont think it is original but I ilked it very much than the original. I have blue ink of this pen bought from Dubai. Since only black is allowed in my exam I ordered black ink pen from amazon. This pen is very smooth to write than the blue ink pen I have. The Ink is not bright though it is okay.

It is a good pen, but only for sketching use, if used as normal pen for writing, better go for the locally available cheaper options. I have noticed Broader range in weight of lines and intensity, one can achieve it with other pens as well but a bit smoother & easier with this pen.

The pens don't bloody write. All 10 of them! The ink flow isn't consistent - if I was writing the word 'writing' with pen, only the w would be visible and the rest would be blank because the ink doesn't flow at all! I don't know about you but this stock disappointed me and it was money down the drain. It would have been better to buy a set of cello pinpoint pens from the local store and be happy with their performance.

Very smooth in writing and sketching. Ink is bit lighter side of black so its good for sketching, i can layer multiple times to make darker or keep it lighter if its needed. Good substitute pen if you can't afford Bic Cristal pens.

I was looking for sketching pens as I am an industrial designer. As bic pens come in huge packs you can't buy them in less quantity and also black colour is not available so I tried out there and they turned out to be better than Bic pens and also they don't bleed out or leak which was a constant problem with bic

Ink is bit low dark
