Working...if not then go to d'link website choose India location from US flag...then technical support...then manual user guide firmware download...select dwa131 f1...do not think about f1 or f2....download...install...thats it

Weak signal
This device was showing weak signal even for my Home wi-fi. I have a 4 years old similar tp-link device which works like a charm. Need to return the product. Update: Attached the images of how mi laptop inbuilt wifi shows the signal and how this dlink device. Linux drivers are not included in the CD. There is a problem making this device work with Linux. Works on windows after installing the drivers. Generally these days explicit drivers installation is not required for such commonly used devices. I would suggest not to buy this if you are a linux user.

Works for me
For some reason my ASUS barebone M3A-3200 wouldn't recognise the Netgear wireless dongle which we had been using for a while in another machine (ACER 5100). Having a D-Link DIR-855 router I chose to go with the same manufacturer to try and sort it out. It worked, the signal quality is good enough for it be used in a bedroom, where the signal is passing through a floor and a wall. I can only give this product 5 stars as it does exactly what I wanted it to do and it does it well, is unobtrusive and is relatively inexpensive. Upload and download speeds are better than expected for a small dongle
