Ledy 33w Led Ceiling Light Fixtures Retrofit Board Replacement Panel 9.84 Inch 3630lm Light Bulb Replace Incandescent Fluorescent Bulb Round Tube (Warm White)

I bought this to replace the approx 9 inch circular fluorescent bulb above a computer work station. The installation was easy in that the fixture comes with fittings to magnetically stick to the ceiling base without having to screw it in as it is very lightweight. The electrical connection to the power was straightforward for a handyman or anyone familiar with a simple connection. The temperature of the light is a bright white in the 3000K range. The brightness was very good but a bit brighter than the original light as I find this to be the case when replacing with a comparable LED light. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend this light if it meets the requirements for your replacement. Thanks!

Overall, I'm really happy with this unit (warm white version). I did have to modify my old steel mounting plate to make this replacement work, but it was well worth the effort. If your ceiling plate has mounting clips for the old fluorescent bulb(s) you'll have to remove them so the new assembly can mount flat with the supplied magnets. I used a Dremel with a cutting disk - it took about 2 minutes. Or you could drill out the clip rivets. Attaching the new assembly was pretty easy. It just clicks into place with the magnetic posts. The new power supply's mounting holes didn't fit the pattern in my old plate, so I drilled 1/16" pilot holes and used two #6 x 1/2" sheet metal screws to secure it. But don't use the supplied spring-loaded wire connector. The 120 volt wires will slip out of it easily - not safe! Use good ol' screw-on wire nuts. The supplied connector is not wiring code compliant, and it's a fire hazard. So, I'm really happy with the brightness and gorgeous light color of our new laundry room light, compared with the old cold white fluorescents we had. Ya know, it might even make it more fun do do our laundry.

I installed this light into an older circular Lithonia Lighting fixture I purchased on Amazon. The Lithonia light had three tension clips that I was able to use to install the new light ring. The old led light (has the name "SilverLite") had a flicker that was clearly visible using 1/8 slow motion video and seemed to flicker when my AC turned on. This ledy light showed no sign of flicker in slow motion. The old lamp was rated 3000K; the Warmwhite ledy is cooler (more yellow) than the old lamp, perhaps 2900K.

Affordable, about 10" diameter LED board with magnets. Simple design, large enough, warm and cool light choices, no unnecessary dimming gimmicks in my opinion. Cool to touch. Not getting hot, hopefully it will last a long time. Great option to avoid throwing away an existing light fixture, taking into account how flimsy the replacement fixture plastic bowls are. Also, I did reuse the existing nut wire connectors with some additional electrical tape as I do not trust the provided spring loaded clamp connector to be reliable. This is a good advice I took from one of the reviewers.

This is a good product. My only complaint is that the connector for the house wiring is little flimsy and comes loose easily, which is dangerous. But overall it works just as promised. the nifty little magnetic offsets are so cool that when I retire this fixture I’m going to try to make sure to keep them for something else ... There are a few things you should know though. The first is that these lights don’t have as much diffusion as a fluorescent bulb so shadows are sharper and it will make the room look a little different. Also the lights are more directional, pointing downward. My fixture’s diffuser has light coming from out of the sides which works fine for a fluorescent but not quite as well for these. It’s not that bad though. Critically though, most people are going to want the warm light. The daylight version of the fixture only really looks good in the middle of the day when I don’t need it; at night it looks harsh and blue. I bought that one first, and nobody in my family could stand it. Then I went back and bought the “warm” version. I guess I’ll put the daylight one in my garage or something.

The Ledy 33w led retrofit lasted less than 2 years. Regretfully, I went whole hog and retrofitted 14 fixtures for a client. Now 5 have failed. Client is not amused. The product installs easily, is a good color temperature, and has a good lumen output. The downfall is poor longevity.

Love this kit It was a great replacement for the 18 year old fluorescent builb that burned out My housing was metal. This is needed when you use the magnets to mount the circular led lights in the housing. This kit was a perfect fit It’s bright, very well priced and is a direct fit

Moved into a new house (not new, but new to me). There were two double florescent (Circline) fixtures in the kitchen. In one fixture, both bulbs were burned out, the other one worked okay. I priced new Circline bulbs, and decided to try these LED replacements. I bought the warm white. I am a Grandma in her late 70's, and I was able to do everything myself. Very easy, and very pleased with the amount of light and ease of intallation. Two weeks ago the other florescent Circline fixture got dim and I found one more burned out bulb. Was happy to see that Amazon still had these wonderful LED replacements. Took about 45 minutes, beginning to end, and with a cup of coffee in the middle. Very pleased so far. Original bulbs were installed in Nov. 2019. New fixture added in Nov. 2020.
