Automating with SIMATIC S7-1500: Configuring, Programming and Testing with STEP 7 Professional

This book is brilliant it's my bible , it gives explanations to indirect addressing, implicit data conversion, and more LAD,FB,SCL & STL it even explains the different comms blocks and how they work. If you want to up your game from basic LAD programming this is a very good place to start.

Very helpful much easier than using Siemens manuals or looking on Siemens website

Note that this book is for V12 and does not include the extra functionality of V13 which was released in August 2014. It is a shame that Siemens did not let Hans Berger know this or else he could have updated the book and issued a more useful book. No news yet as to when the V13 version will be released.
