Are the cans BPA free?

The can says "BPA free lining". Musco Family Olive Co. 17950 Via Nicolo, Tracy, CA 95377. I found them delicious- large & not mushy. Good deal

What's the difference between "pearls" and "early California" both are Musco black olives. Is there a difference?
