Even though it Still has not passed the anime due to slow translation by Yen Press, the book goes into more details which fans of the series would like. Re:Zero vol 18 is due to come out in japan on Dec 25. Unfortunately I we are still at vol.8

Another great edition to the series

This volume drags. I had no trouble with the first seven volumes or the first two Ex spin-offs, but I barely managed to get halfway through this in the month leading up to the anime's second season. So much time is spent building up the sense that things are going too easily that it is just a waste of time. The dialogue is also a mess, with too many people taking and the narration after the conversation being the only way to tell who spoke. Julius and Wilhelm are especially hard to differentiate by the dialogue alone. The anime crammed this book into 2 episodes. The last time this wasnoticeable was in Volume 5, where they kept the base minimum of Al and Priscilla. That will bite them in the ass later, since it set up Al as another man from Japan, the southern country and Priscilla's gift. With this volume, it just feels like they trimmed the fat. I hate to review halfway through the book, but I keep watching season 2, keep wanting to catch up in the LN, and keep being disappointed when I'm still reading about the Witch Cult hunt.

Excelentes novelas, han mantenido calidad constante a lo largo de todos los volúmenes. Siento que la historia progresa muy lentamente, aunque es normal sentir eso habiendo visto primero el anime. Un dato a tener en cuenta, es que el número de volumen en los laterales, está a diferente altura en cada tomo, haciendo que no se vean parejos al ponerlos todos juntos en un librero.

Amazing volume with a heartbreaking ending. I love this series.

when this book arrived it was in superb quality no creases to be seen it was all nicely packaged in a secure box so it did not move around during the delivery and the paper had no marks to i recommend you to purchase this book p.s the light novels story was good too
