Review: Life changing! - This endoscopic camera was genuinely life changing for me! I've been plagued with ear problems for years. I'm constantly asking people to repeat themselves and find myself avoiding social interactions. When it gets bad enough I'll get a referral to see an ENT, which takes months and after co- pays and prescriptions I'm out a few hundred dollars. I decided to give this camera a try to see what exactly is going on in my ears. I used my phone- a Samsung Galaxy s8+ and downloaded the USB Camera app (not the one recommended by the product itself.) I got a great image right away and using the little sponge tip my hearing improved immediately! A couple of tips: - Turn the brightness all the way up. - roll the camera between your fingertips until you get a good image. - take the clear tip cover off (I know it might seem obvious, but at first I wasn't sure if it should stay on to protect my ear. ) - keep the tip clean. Even a fingerprint can severely affect image quality. Review: Great pictures, easy setup - Once I got it set up, it worked great. PROS: Video quality is very good - I"m impressed. The onboard LEDs do not wash out the picture at high rightness, as I have seen happen with other endoscope cameras. A standard USB-A connector, USB Mini, and a USB-C are all provided. The A and Mini are cleverly designed into one connector, and the C is tethered to the others, so it will be there when needed. CONS: It will not work with my other camera applications - you have to use the one designed for it. The cord is so stiff that it's hard to hold it vertical for a consistent picture. A smaller and/or a more flexible cable would make a huge difference. The rubberized grip slips, so you can't use that for holding it vertical either. I put a mark on the grip, and then found that it was rotating from the stiffness of the cable.

Home Essentials!
I love bragging to my wife when a purchase that she ridicules proves its usefulness! I was just chewing a stick of gum could've sworn I bit down on a pebble. Anyway, I hooked up the endoscope to assess the damage and discovered my entire filling broke off. CRAZY!!

Dissatisfied
Very dissatisfied with this product. The suggested app is hard to find and did not work for us. The device does not work consistently, it will freeze frame and then shut down.

It doesn't work on my phone, but I still like it
It doesn't work on my Galaxy S7. It works on my HP laptop. The image is pretty clear, but only at a very specific distance. The tools that come with it are almost useless because you can't really see where they are reaching unless they are exactly at that same focal point. It's pretty handy to be able to look inside my ear or any other very tight space.

Not working
I downloaded the app connected the device. The app kept saying it wasn't connected. After many attempts still not working. Too bad I really wanted it to work .
