Great for salt rinse, could use with other soaps too
Works great, spreads the salt wash very quick. I learned quickly that the plastic container of salt wash empties quickly if you're on "full soap". I put mine maybe 2 dots from the lowest setting. The foam comes out but you don't use up the soap in 20 seconds. I want to do more as I couldn't get under the car really well. I'll put on a curb or something so it's angled a bit and do more rinsing. I'll probably use the same kit with some kind of car wash soap, it would be quick and easy to foam up the car using this thing. Need a place to store the plastic things. Don't toss your hose around with this on the end. Also try to leave it upright. I hung on edge of my car wash bucket.

Not a value purchase
Beware. I thought I was saving money by buying this product. Actually, I have ended up spending more than if I had purchased the admittedly overpriced Salt Away accessory at the start. The dial on the Durabasics version very quickly started to stiffen, and eventually locked up- unless youโre prepared to use pliers. (Note that my hand strength is good.)

Get what you pay for - but is worth the initial purchase
Plastic components don't seem likely to function for long. The ball valves and soap/water selector are difficult to turn, not smooth. Otherwise, it seems a good value overall between the gallon of cleaner and device.
