Are the grits typically unsealed when delivered

They are packed in kraft tin-tie bags. They are folded over a few times and fastened with the tin-ties. Kind of like and old style coffee bag. We love them because there is No Plastic in the grit bags! 2 and 4-pack orders ship directly from the Carolina Grits Mill. Single Pack - Prime orders have an extra piece of tape over the top of the bag to seal it for the Amazon warehouse.
