I bought these for a family camping trip and they worked even better than I had hoped. They're SUPER easy to use. I was even able to light these up using my electric lighter which has a small spark. They burn for a fairly long time so the firewood easily caught fire and held a flame. Very reliable and never let me down. Fantastic product!

Tbh I never tried fire starters. When I was young and still made them, everyone was still old school with building them up from scratch. The most they'd do is use some lighter fluid even though I believe starter logs were a thing for decades at that point. I got a new house with a fireplace and want to use it so I was looking into ways to start burning quickly. Got this to try and was not disappointed in the least. The burn was super powerful and set the logs off without any issue. Im still amazed how many I got for the price. Even my boomer dad was impressed after he was convinced nothing would work other than starter logs. Will for sure buy more when I do eventually run out.

They shed a bit - but they work great. Catch fire right way AND EASY. Just has a shedding problem.
