Good driver Tacho card reader. Works well with the Tachogram app on Android from Google Play store. Well priced and sturdy. Comes with a stand. Buy USB A to USB C adapter to use with your android mobile.

The HID OMNIKEY is basically the Volkswagen of tachocard readers, solid, dependable, and not exactly thrilling, but it’ll get the job done without bursting into flames. Personally, it’s a toss-up between this and the Cherry. The Cherry only wins if you value a card reader that could double as a murder weapon. The HID, on the other hand, is lightweight, nicely built, and comes with a clever little base that keeps it steady without gluing it to your desk. Want it horizontal like an ATM? Tough luck, you’ll need to buy another base. Setup is idiot-proof and it plays nicely with all the big tacho software (yes, Tachomaster friend, it'll work just fine). For twenty quid, the value’s cracking. You really can’t go wrong, UNLESS you’re the sort of boss who underpays and overworks your drivers. In that case, skip the HID and go for the Cherry; it’s sturdier for when the mutiny begins.

Been a class 1 driver i bought this to keep tabs on my driving hours and fill out timesheets, using with free software, Tacho Plus Driver, both work a treat.

I gave two stars, as hopefully, this way, more people will read this review. I had to send the HID Omnikey 3121 back to Amazon.co.uk: 1. Does NOT work on Apple MAC OS running Tahoe 26.2, even after re-installing the drivers, etc. 2. HID as a company has a NO ACCESS practice for (poor) Customer Service if you are a private buyer! (I verified their website, a complete waste of time)

Had taken in immergency and brought it from Amazon and was really confused if its going to work or no, but to my surprise its working 100% super like charm. Auto detected in Windows 10/ 11 Laptops and Desktop PCs. and Also detecting Out of India (residence cards) as well as read all smart cards. I am totally satisfied and a happy customer :-)
