I was pretty skeptical buying this, but I’m desperate as a hairy girl lol. My hair grows so fast, and I can only shave about once a week otherwise my skin becomes extremely irritated if I do it too often. I used it after I shaved and applied it twice daily for 3 days, I left other parts just to be able to see if there was a visible difference, and shockingly, there is. It has also helped with my strawberry legs, as it has shrunk the appearance of my pores! I will try to get photos uploaded, but I am excited to continue my use with this oil. It also has a scent, which I don’t mind and it isn’t too oily.

Love it! It slowed down my facial hair growth in a week only using it at night. The only thing I dislike is the smell. Smells like Citronella. Which isn’t pleasing but whatever I’ll deal with the smell because it’s actually working to stunt my mustache!

This stuff definitely slows down hair growth on legs and is a decent after shave moisturizer, however I wouldn’t recommend for the bikini area or on the face/anywhere acne-prone, I kept getting cystic acne and ingrown hairs in those areas almost directly after application, been great for my legs though. I also love that it’s fragrance free since fragrance always makes me really itchy.

I use it on my upper lip and chin. It definitely slows down hair growth. I don’t use daily because I’m busy throughout the week. However, I use it on the weekends and a few times during the week. I have seen an improvement and do recommend (especially for the price.)

I bought Cyperus Rotundus Oil hoping it would slow hair growth, but it did absolutely nothing. No reduction, no thinning, no delay just completely ineffective for me. After wasting my time on it, I looked into the research, and what I found honestly made me regret trying it in the first place. There is very little solid clinical evidence that this oil actually works for hair removal. Most claims are overhyped or based on small, limited studies. Some studies show it has cytotoxic properties, meaning it can affect or damage cells under certain conditions. What really concerned me is that Cyperus rotundus has been shown in some research to interact with hormones, including potential anti-androgenic effects (it can interfere with hormones like testosterone). That might sound appealing for hair reduction, but messing with hormones, especially without medical supervision. Hormonal disruption can potentially lead to issues like: Irregular cycles Skin changes Mood shifts Other endocrine imbalances Also important: There is NO proven evidence that this causes cancer in humans, but there also isn’t enough long-term safety data to confidently say it’s safe either. The fact that it can affect cells and hormones was enough of a red flag for me. My takeaway: Did not work at all Overhyped and under-researched Potential hormone-related effects are concerning Not worth the risk for something with no results I would not recommend this product, especially when there are safer, better-studied options available.
