Tomb45 Indestructible Hair Clay, High Strong Hold with Matte Finish Hair Styling Product

I'm a binary female who cut my hair short a couple of years ago and have developed a penchant for men's styling products ever since. However, I definitely don't want to smell like a man. The reviewer who earned kisses for the scent of this product and says you will too, is absolutely right! And it won't matter what gender either one of you are. The scent of this clay is universally appealing! Simply CLEAN, fresh, inviting...like you just washed your hair and it's still a little damp. Definitely not like you fell into a 6' bottle of cologne. Ugh, I hate those types! On anybody! 🤭 The clay itself is magic! A dime-size will do 99% of the heads reading this. Warm it up a bit between your palms or fingertips, then go to town, lifting, piecing, and arranging, however you normally get from zero to styled. The directions on the tub are adorable, assuring us we can't possibly use it incorrectly. The hold is almost immediately apparent! So are the texture, volume, and the completely matte appearance. The stellar performance continues all day! If something flattens or blows you, just give it the finger right back! Fingers are OK anytime, actually. This stuff is as touchable as it is solid. No need to back away from anyone or anything. The hair can instantly go from battle-ready to bedroom, whenever en-Tomb45-ed! The next day is equally fantastic. A little mist of water and it all comes right back! No greasy residue, no flakes, no additional product needed for another great hair day. To further underscore my points, I gave my hairspray-loving hubs a turn in the tub of Tomb45. Then I had to buy one for him too! He loved it!! Immediately threw the sprays he had into the trash. And his hair looked just as fabulous when he came home from work as it did when he left! If you have short hair, you need this. Don't walk, run! 😁

Listen friend, I was you a few months ago. Running around from Target to Target to try and find any type of Goodfellow Texturing Fiber that I could. The price was solid, and that product was good. But that product is hit or miss, and I am tired of scraping by with a tiny smidge of hair stuff to last until I can find it. Tomb 45 is your answer. At 47 years old, I feel great about the amount of hair I still have left. That being said, I look for a product that helps make my hair look full, not clumpy like a gel. Tomb 45 does that even better than the previously mentioned stuff at Target. I find I am using even less than I usually do, and my hair has a matte finish, while looking full and not clumpy. It holds shape, but is also pliable to move around. At work I have to wear a visor but can easily re-style when my shift is over. Not only does the product WORK well, it smells exceptional. It has a light, masculine scent to it (not floral), and my girlfriend actually said, "woah, that smells amazing!" Did I get a few kisses out of it? Yes, yes I did. Does that guarantee you will? I can't go on the record as saying "YES it is a guarantee that if you use Tomb 45 as your product, you will get kisses." But off the record, yes you absolutely will. I super love this product and am ecstatic to find a product that works simple, works effective, and smells great. (even if it's on my head, it still counts) Also, i just love reviewing products. I did not get paid for this. I wanted to share my thoughts to help other fellas looking for a great product. 11 out of 10 stars if possible.

Wonderous product. Amazing smell and leaves no shine. Feels natural and holds throughout the day beautifully. Did not produce any unwarranted moist stickiness.

I buy this for my 16 yr. old son. He loves this product & has tried many others in the last few years, but always ends up sticking with this Tomb45 clay. He’s pretty picky so I’d say it’s a great product. Also he’s got very dark brown hair so I know it does not leave a residue cause I would notice that.

I keep one at the shop and one at home. It combines the texture and finish of a matte past and the volume and styling abilities of a texture powder. It’s silky smooth and easy to work in your hair. I like it more than using a styling powder because it has a decent hold but is also easy to wash out. It’s like a 2 in 1 and a much better value than most other products

It's just okay. There's not a lot in the container and I have to use quite a bit to get the style I'm going for, which is a messy look. Kind of disappointed in the amount you get for the price. 3/4/2025 - Update: I do love this product and figured out that you don't need a ton. I put a gob in my hand and rub my hands together vigorously until it warms up, then apply to my hair. It works great and is firm yet flexible. The reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it doesn't wash out. It stays in my hair which is a bummer. I'll still use it, though.

I’ve spent years changing/trying MANY different products to get that “perfect” look for my messy looking Mohawk/faux hawk/mullet style. (I have straight thick hair.) This product is a perfect matte finish, with a high hold, that helped create the messy texture I am looking for. The directions on the tin made me laugh, and it’s very true. Something to the effect of “Slap it in, rub it around, do whatever” . I’m confident I have finally found THEE perfect hair product for ease, style, longevity, etc. very easy to apply, not greasy, and has a subtle fragrance that is nice. 10/10 recommend.

Best product I've used for achieving a textured natural look. No shine, adds volume, makes hair appear thicker and holds up all day. It isn't really greasy, it doesn't leave any residue on my fingers if I touch my hair. Can be used dry or wet depending on the desired effect. Just a great, versatile product that my barber recommended.
