This is a great product. Yes, it is expensive for the number of doses. However, I prefer quality over quantity when it concerns the supplements I consume. As another reviewer stated, it is very true that not all melatonin supplements are the same. Over the years I’ve tried several varieties of melatonin. Like tablets that you swallow, tablets that dissolve under the tongue, & gummies just to name a few. This spray melatonin from Onnit is by far my favorite melatonin product that I’ve ever tried. It taste great (which is not important, but a plus), and it’s onset of action is very fast. Beyond that, I find the quality of sleep with this product surpasses that from other melatonin products I’ve tried. In the end, the quality of sleep is the most important factor to me, and that’s why I will continue to purchase this product for as long as they keep making it. Five stars all the way!

CHEMIST NEEDED TO ANALYZE CONTENTS! This product changed my life but BEWARE. I’m 6’4 210 pounds and I could never find a melatonin brand that would knock me the hell out within 20 to 30 minutes and help me wake up not groggy. I have to give props to the company for finding a formula for not having me groggy in the morning however I genuinely believe that 5 to 6 sprays of this most likely involves very very high doses of melatonin more so than they say on the packaging for it to knock me out harder than hard drugs. I really hope in a few years there are no call backs for this because of HOW effectively it works. I feel great but it’s concerning that there might be more to this formula than meets the eye. Essentially I’m saying this product is TOO GOOD to be true knowing good and well that the FDA or any authority doesn’t actually do an in depth analysis of these products.

This melatonin is the only thing that helps me sleep. I have tried so many different brands and types. The taste may take a bit to get used for some people. As a person who really struggles with falling asleep, this brand makes me feel tired even if I try to fight it.

​I first purchased this spray back in November 2023, and it really was a keeper from the start! However, because of the price, I have been on the lookout trying other products to see if I could find something that checked all the boxes but saved me a little money. Because who doesn't like saving money, right? ​ Since that first bottle, I have tried countless different brands and types, including liquids, gummies, pills, and tinctures. Nothing has matched the quality or the results I get from Onnit. In fact, after looking back at my order history, I have probably wasted more money trying to find a "cheaper" alternative than if I had just stuck with this from the start! My most recent order on January 10th was my 4th time buying this, and it is officially my first choice and only recommendation for melatonin. ​ Why it works for me: ​ ● Potency: The label says 6 sprays is. 3mg. I've taken 40mg in gummies before just to "try" and fall asleep, but with this, I can do just 3 sprays and actually feel my eyes getting heavy. ​● Taste: The lavender flavor is great. It doesn't have that weird medicinal aftertaste that a lot of sprays, liquids, and tinctures have. I noticed some other reviewes mentioned a change in the taste or formula recently, but having used this for over two years now, I haven't noticed any change at all. It’s still the same high quality for me. ​● Size: The 1oz bottle is perfect for travel or keeping on a crowded nightstand, but the size is also what prevents me from solely purchasing this brand. While I like the convenience of the small bottle, it just doesn't hit that "value for size" mark for me for everyday use. ​Are the results worth it? Absolutely. But is the value there for a daily supplement? That’s where it falls a bit short for me, which is the only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5. Am I done wasting money on cheaper alternatives that don't work? No, probably not, but I really wish they would adjust the price to make it a bit more affordable. Heck, I wouldn't even mind purchasing a larger bottle if they sold one just so I could refill my spray. If Onnit ever makes that happen, you better believe this would be the only melatonin in my house!

this arrived quickly, and I don't use as many sprays as suggested (I do 4 at night). I have slept great ever since getting this product.

Wish it wasn’t 12$ but it works great so I guess you get what you pay for tastes great and puts you out with no groggy feelings in the morning!

I’m a sleep doctor and this is my go to melatonin. Use 1 spray- 0.5 mg- that is physiologic and helps stabilize circadian rhythm or adjust with time changes. 3 mg does not make you sleep better than 0.5 mg, so those other 5 sprays are a waste. The flavor is not as good as it once was, not sure of the exact change. But it’s mild enough, easy to use, and good value when you use 1 spray each night (highly recommend) because it is as effective for sleep as higher doses, does not impact daytime sleepiness, and the bottle will last much longer making it better bang for your buck.
