use this on and off - handy to have in sewing kit
this is great, as it stops things from fraying. I wouldn't recommend for simply putting on something like a moth hole tho, as it dries slightly dark and hard - same as if you applied super glue to fabric. I use it where seams are tight, but remain hidden to stop stitches pulling out, or where twist locks are inserted and the fabric has to be cut to accommodate.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT!
Love this product. Been using it for over 25 years. Does what its supposed to do and a tiny bit goes a long way. I use it when I'm sewing but also for new clothes. A drop of Fray Check on the backs of buttons virtually guarantees they'll never fall off. Just remember that a drop is sufficient. Also, it dries stiff but softens after being laundered - plus that drop lasts for a few months.
