This is a light rosin, correct?

Depends which you get. The original is a classic light rosin, while the peccatte(spelling?) is a dark rosin specially formulated to play like a light rosin.

Has anyone compared the darker winter “ peccatte” version with the original amber sartory? Anything to note/share?

This dark rosin gives the bow a little more bite on the strings than the amber, resulting in better articulation and, on my instrument, a bigger sound on the G and D strings.
