I hesitated... Is it okay to label the books of the Bible, or should I memorize the order? I'm so glad I bought this! I can now find verses faster than anyone! And everything in life is a competition... Right? RIGHT???

I recently added the Mr. Pen Laminated Bible Tabs (75 Tabs) to my study Bible and they have been a really helpful little upgrade. The set comes with 75 tabs covering the books of both the Old and New Testament plus a few blank ones, which makes it much easier to quickly find passages when reading or studying. The tabs are laminated so they feel durable and do not tear easily, and they are thin enough that they do not make the Bible bulky. I also liked how simple they were to apply since they are pre cut and self adhesive, so you just peel, align, and stick them in place. The print is clear and easy to read which helps a lot when flipping through pages quickly during study or church. Overall they make navigating the Bible much faster and more organized while also adding a nice clean look to the pages, so I would definitely recommend them for anyone who reads or studies their Bible regularly. However, if you want to take these off, it could ruin your pages. I would strongly advise having a long think about whether you want your Bible to look crowded before adding these on.

I was torn between this set of Bible tabs and another set from DiverseBee, so I ordered both to compare them in person. Both sets of tabs are beautiful and feel to be a good quality, however, this Mr. Pen set is a thicker, higher quality tab than the higher-priced DiverseBee set. Both sets were very easy to install thanks to the included instructions and application placement guide; however this set took longer as the material was thicker and took more care to lay the back side of the tab down correctly. I did fold each tab backwards and forwards over the scored center fold prior to application to ensure they would lay down properly. I also used a plastic scraper tool from Dollar Tree to go over each tab as I applied it to make sure it was secured to the page and sealed shut completely, a credit card would also work in this situation. I only messed up on two tabs (2 and 3 John…ugh!) and had to remove them, which was a pain as I had already gone over them with the scraper. They are really bonded to the paper once scraped, however, I do recommend doing this to ensure the overall neatness and seal of the tabs. The DiverseBee set was thinner and didn’t need this step. I really like the extra blank tabs (that were included in both sets) to use to make custom reference tabs; I’m still pondering on how I will use these, maybe along the top to identify each major section of the OT and NT). This Mr. Pen set had pretty headers on each of the five pages of labels, so I also trimmed those off and will be sticking them somewhere in my Bible or Bible study notebook as well. The much lower price point and higher quality of the Mr. Pen tabs makes them my clear winner, but both sets are a useful and attractive addition to two of my Bibles. These will not stick to my pages or to each other (they also separate at the top where they should be stuck together). It seems like they are too rigid and not sticky enough but it’s hard to tell why exactly they are not working. Disappointing - and I’m not sure how to return them as they are already used.
