Durable and good tone
Bought as a gift - really nice uke good for teaching

Very good quality ukulele
I am a guitar player, but bought this for my elementary age grandchildren. I am very pleased with the ukulele construction, sound, attention to detail, etc. The only problem is that the link to the online free lessons leads you to a site where a poor Chinese-American soundtrack is dubbed over the original Chinese. The result of the lessons is laughable for native English speakers, and essentially unusable. The instruction booklet that comes with the instrument, on the other hand, is well-written and clear. The ukulele and accessories are quite good. I am quite pleased overall.

This TOM ukulele is so much fun!
Having so much fun with this TOM concert ukulele! The intonation is so good! Well above what you would expect at this price. The D'Addario strings that come on it are very nice and easy to play. Frets are perfect. The voice of this ukulele is great! And it comes with great accessories including a little booklet to get ya started on your ukulele journey. I've been teaching and making videos with it and am very impressed! @Ukulele with Barry

Item definitely not as described
Description is not accurate. Ukulele listed as lacquered, but it is definitely not shiny. Strings listed as D'Addario EJ 87, which is a titanium string. Actual strings are TOM brand of fluorocarbon strings. I bought it partly because it had D'Addario strings. Four incorrect hard, stiff, celluloid-like TOM brand picks are included, Ukuleles use felt picks. Hard picks mar or cut strings and scratch ukulele top. Strap has a twist when attached as directed. The locking strap ends won't attach to the strap pins any other way. Description emphasizes that the ukulele resists warping, but it feels like there is a warped area near the lower wide part of the back on the side below the A string. I'm not sure if the bridge bone and nut are actually made of bone as described. They look too much like white plastic to be bone. Gig bag is nice. I'm very glad I didn't pay more. It definitely isn't what I thought I was getting.
