Garbage, absolute garbage! Do not waste your time or money on this purchase. The lamp arrived in a amazon box but was packaged in what is similar to a convenience store bag tied in a knot. The product in the bag was similar to cut out pieces. No instructions and no pieces that look like it could be a lamp. No cord, no lightsocket, no ceiling mount nothing. So frustrating to buy this for our daughter's teen room to have it arrive as this and have to return it and then find something else. Don't waste your time or money!!!!

After reading the negative reviews of this product I decided to purchase two anyway, since I do like puzzles and the worst case scenario would be to return them... It is true the packaging is not very alluring (plastic bag...) but it does come with the wire and bulb fitting. It has no assembly instructions but, as noted in another review, the lamp is almost identical to the IKEA model. So, I looked up youtube assembly videos for the IKEA lamp and eureka! It follows exactly the same logic with a few quirks very easily solved. Once assembled they look beautiful. It is a great value product! I love my new lamps... Don't forget, assembly instructions on youtube, look for IKEA Knappa assembly :)

10/10 would give as a gift to my worst enemy. Please do NOT cut your nails prior to putting this together. Those are a secret tool that will help you later. Much to many if yours disappointment, I cannot recommend sitting down with a glass of wine to put this bad boy together. And putting this together requires a certain level of analysis and logic that I KNOW half of y’all don’t have. Be honest with yourself prior to clicking “buy now” : if you can’t or don’t like putting Legos together, don’t buy these. That aside; there is a method to the madness. I bought 2, and put the first one together hanging up off a door knob I think that’s the easier way. The second way is the video which I thought was clever, and that’s putting it all together with the little pins then closing the circle. I do not recommend this method. I have paired these shades with a plug in hanging light bulb thing I also got on Amazon because I am not an electrician and don’t plan on hardwiring these bad boys. I also used an Alexa friendly color changing light bulb which is very nifty. Once you get over your seething hatred and misunderstanding to get them together, they look lovely. Please for the love of your higher being watch YouTube videos on the ikea version of these lamps as they come with 0% instructions and are 0% intuitive.

I wish I read the reviews first...there is just no excuse for something this horrible on Amazon in the year 2021. No..no..HELL NO! plastic bag packaging..forgivable. No instructions... Unforgivable. Flimsy structure. UNFORGIVABLE. UNABLE TO ASSEMBLE AFTER HOURS OF ATTEMPT DUE TO RUBBISH PRODUCT¡¡???? U-N-F-O-R-G-I-A-B-L-E!!!! Amazon get them off your platform its absolute rubbish!

I love the idea of this lamp. What I can not appreciate is how many corners that have been cut. This is a relatively smaller lamp, which was to my surprise ( I didn’t want to go small for a bedroom because it’s a beautiful shade that adds the right ambience). But sheesh ... smaller shade and no instructions c’mon guys. There’s always a way to show your customers you want their business and to keep coming back. Add in an instructional vid link of your own (even w/o sound), at the very least. Manufacturers/ suppliers, if you’re going to replicate an item at least try to keep with the dimensions. Take my advice add another 4-5 in es to the lamp.

My Son is opening a business and and liked these. I agree with the other reviewers , they don’t look like much when you receive the bag of 100’s of pieces ! They were a real challenge putting together and the pieces were all there. The finished product is beautiful though.!

It was flimsy and smaller than the photo made it appear in relation to its fixture. The flimsiness of the materials made it even more difficult to assemble. I ended up buying an IKEA fixture off Etsy (it shipped from Poland - IKEA in the US seems to have stopped carrying this fixture). That one was much better quality AND came with instructions.

I wish Amazon had better quality control and didn’t sell awful items like this. I read the reviews and was up for the challenge/puzzle to assemble without instructions as many have already noted... but many of the pieces (shipped in the grocery bag previously mentioned) were already broken or were so brittle that they snapped upon assembly. I’m usually very handy and capable of random home improvement projects... but this is just something else. Luckily Amazon has great customer service, but still... Such a waste of time.
