Does the show horse stable fit Breyer 1:32 scale stablemates horses (~3 in high by 4 in long)?

Yes, my granddaughter has the Breyer horses and they fit in this stable.

what are the horses made of? and do they come out of the stable to play with?

The horse are made of a very sturdy plastic. The stable has two doors on the back with a gold metal hook-style latch. You can easily open the "stable doors" and let the horses out to play. We've had this toy since June 2013 and it has held up very well -- my daughter plays with it constantly and has even dropped it on several occasions.

What is the length and height of the horses?

They seem to be about 3.5 inches in length and about 2.5 inches high....ish!

Are the horses small enough to pose a choking hazard? AKA would they fit through the opening of a paper towel roll?

Hi- No, they are not a choking hazard. I tried to put one of the horses in a paper towel roll and I could not. They stand about 2 1/2-3 inches tall and maybe 3 inches long.

Overly impressed.

Very impressive set. I was expecting plastic cheap horses, but they are solid and heavy. The barn it real wood, it comes with stickers to name the horses. I like that you can lock the barn door and use the handle to carry it around.

Perfect horse kit

Big hit with my 3 year old daughter. The horses all stand up on their own. She loved being able to name all the horses and write their names above the stalls. I love how it’s compact and easy to store. Perfect for pretend play.
