As advertised
Product arrived as described. Very little powder and very few garbage stones. My thermo 600 took all x4l. Will update x4 months from now on performance changes. Replaced ceramic rings and sintered glass bio balls from Ehiem. Make sure u wash thoroughly and soak for 24hrs to keep the floaters to a min. Update; working well in my 600, all my values are 0 and the water is crystal clear with just a little yellow due to wood in tank. All x4l went into my 600, flow is good with the 45ppi ring sponges on pre filter. Taken x7 weeks for these results. PH is stable at 7 to 7.1 Great stuff but still expensive!

Matrix is very effective at housing all of that good bacteria a filter needs to work.
I’ve been using Matrix for around ten years. It works extremely well, and holds up over time. I do keep it in mesh bags inside of my filters. I can’t imagine cleaning a filter without using the mesh bag, for easy removal and rinsing. I’ve been working on a new garden pond and decided to give matrix a go in place of the commonly used lava rock. Clearly a large amount is needed so I started price hunting these 1 gallon matrix tubs. This was the best priced I found. I like to buy from my LFS but the price was nearly double. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and as expected.

Perfecto
