So far so good with the EVATEK HDMI KVM Switch! I’m running two computers with dual monitors, and this device handles 4K@60Hz great. No lag, no dropped signals, and the video quality stays sharp. Switching between computers is fast and reliable using either the front button or the desktop controller, which is super convenient. The USB 3.0 ports are a huge bonus. I can easily share my keyboard, mouse, and even my printer and scanner without any issues or delays. Setup was very straightforward, and everything feels solid and well-built. Trickiest part is cable management and being OCD like me. I’ve had my share of switches and this one is one of the better of them and much cheaper too.

This KVM worked smoothly with my PCs that are sharing the same monitor and keyboard set. I used other KVM product before, and this one is easier to use comparing to others with its compact size, reasonable port layout, and nice compatibility. One odd thing - occasionally loses connection after PC sleep, requiring a replug. Overall, it's a solid KVM for dual monitor setups. Just be prepared for some troubleshooting during setup. after connecting this KVM, - the monitors made intermittent sounds otherwise never made - the monitors continuously flickered unless set to the unusable 30Hz - the HDMI port of my macbook got permanently damaged and disabled no customer service to help. avoid at all costs.

Pros Can control 2 monitors and do 8k @ 60 or 4k at higher. Has USB 3 (although I'm not using any devices that need it) Uses 5v USB-C for power and not some giant brick. It's Small It has a remote, I've had others that have this, it's table stakes as far as I'm concerned. Cons Remote does not have an indicator showing selected computer so if you can't see the indicator light on the box, you don't know. When switching from Mac to PC, the Mac laptop with an active panel does not know the monitor has been disconnected, so windows don't move back to the laptop screen... until you switch back to the Mac, then they all come to the laptop screen, everything flashes and then they call go back to the KVM'ed screen. If it never disconnected it would be fine, if it always disconnected, that would be fine too, but this is janky. Bottom line, it works ok but I don't know if I'd recommend it to a friend

The HDMI KVM Switch works perfectly for my setup in my home office for both my home personal computer and my work laptop. I have two 27" monitors connected with HDMI to this HDMI KVM switch and then 4 HDMI cables connected from the KVM switch into my personal computer and work laptop docking station (2 cables each). I then have my keyboard, mouse, and headphones all connected with the 3 USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch. With a click of a SINGLE button, the KVM switch will toggle between my personal computer and work laptop seamlessly! I like that I only need one keyboard, one mouse, along with my pair of monitors for TWO connected devices. This is much better than my previous setup where I needed disconnect my monitor cables from the back of my personal computer and into my work laptop docking station. Not to mention, I needed to unplug and reconnect the USB ports for my keyboard, mouse, and headphones whenever I want to switch between the two computers. As far as cable management goes, I was able to tuck away all the cables and KVM switch under my desk and out of sight. I simply mounted the switch under my table with double sided adhesive and hid the cables. Lastly, I love that this comes with the extra extended controller that I used to hide under my table as well, but mounted it within reach, but out of sight. This switch feels great, built with quality parts (not plastic), and feels durable to touch. All of this for an AFFORDABLE price! This has optimized my home office setup and I couldn't be happier!

I'm not a gamer, so my use case is different than most - I have two monitors and a work laptop and a personal computer. This works great. Switches between monitors quickly. One time in the last few weeks I saw some static on screen, but I plugged the HDMI cords in again and it fixed it. Definitely a cheap solution! Easy to use and great value.

Comodissimo switch che permette di usare 4 dispositivi su due computer (ovviamente non in contemporanea). Eventualmente supporta anche alimentazione esterna in caso si volessero usare hard disk esterni ma per un utilizzo "blando" con solo mouse e tastiera non è necessario. Nella confezione sono dati anche i due cavi usb più un cavetto per l'alimentazione. La fattura è in generale buonissima, solido e pesante, realizzato in alluminio con porte ben solide: la connessione non si perde neanche strattonando il dispositivo. Consigliatissimo e ad un ottimo prezzo

Ich habe mir den Hub fürs Home-Office zugelegt, weil mich jedes Mal das Umstecken der 1000 USB Kabel aufgeregt hat. Okay, genau genommen nur 4 aber das reicht auch, zumal die neuen Laptops wieder nur 2 "normale" USB-A anschlüsse haben, reicht für Maus und Tastatur, fürs Headset reicht es schon nicht mehr. Der Hub macht einen erstaunlich qualitativen Eindruck, das Gehäuse scheint aus Metall zu sein, was ihm ein gewisses Gewicht verleiht. Das Gewicht wiederum hält ihn trotz der eingesteckten Kabel einigermaßen am Schreibtisch an seiner Position, was ich sehr positiv finde! Angesteckt sind eine beleuchtete Tastatur, Funkmaus, Headset und der USB-Hub vom Monitor. Am normalen PC leuchtet die Tastatur, am Laptop nicht - das ist aber ganz klar kein Mangel des Hubs, sondern liegt daran, wieviel der jeweilige USB-Port an Strom liefert, da gibt es deutliche Unterschiede! Und das wichtigste: Umschalten klappt auch problemlos innerhalb von ~2 Sekunden, bis die USB Geräte vom Computer wieder erkannt werden!

Just works. Very nicely made and supplied with two USB 3 cables, together with a USB power supply cable, should you need it. The switch is both easily accessible and easily seen.

Étant en télétravail je devais partager mes accessoires USB comme le clavier, ma souris ou mon micro de téléconférence entre mon PC personnel et mon ordinateur professionnel. Avec ce switch plus besoin de débrancher, un simple appui sur le bouton suffit pour passer de l’un à l’autre. Vraiment pratique et efficace. Personnellement je l’utilise pour partager un clavier une souris et un micro donc aucun soucis. Je ne peux pas me prononcer sur le taux de transfert concernant le partage d’un HDD externe. L’utilisation d’une clé usb n’a pas posé problème et un taux du transfert du fichier rapide sur les deux pc. Comme on le voit sur la photo le switch est livré avec deux câbles pour le relier à chaque PC ainsi qu’un câble d’alimentation électrique.

This KVM has been extremely useful for my home PC setup. The KVM unit can switch two monitors and 4 USB ports between two PCs. I run a dual monitor setup, so being able to switch two monitors at a time is essential. In use, setting up was easy. The KVM features dual HDMI connections, clearly labelled as in and out. There are also four USB ports for hosting devices and two USB B connectors to allow the computer to connect to the KVM. Power is provided by a micro USB cable which I attached to a USB power supply I already had. The kit contains four HDMI cables and two USB A to B cables, which is good to see, so you are not having to purchase additional cables separately. Once connected up the button on the front of the unit switches between the two PCs. The unit has a sturdy metal case and feels well made and robust. In use it made switching between my two computers a quick and painless process. I could easily set up one task on my main PC and let it run, while using my mini PC for general web browsing. It was also a lot easier than setting up remote access software on a computer running linux, and I could easily access functions such as dual booting and getting into the bios without having to mess around with cables. One thing to be aware of is that the USB speeds are USB 2, so work great for basic devices like keyboards and mice, but will be slow for data transfers such as card readers and external drives. Two of the ports are labelled as USB 2, the other two are labeled for keyboard and mouse and are limited to a slower speed. I personally have separate USB hubs for each computer I was using so switching between devices would not cause issues with interrrupting data transfers. Overall, this is a great robust and comprehensive KVM kit, and I am impressed.
