Product is very good and both the boards are working well. I couldn't test the boards before so now I tested them on 8 ohms speakers and 5 Volt regulated suppy and although the sound output is low (0.5 watts per channel approx) the sound quality is good. The Ic gets warm after sometime because it's configured in class AB mode instead of D mode which has to changed to class D mode for less heat dissipation by connecting pin 9 of the Ic to positive of power supply instead of ground according to datasheet of this Ic pam 8406. Highly recommended for Diy enthusiasts who want to make a Diy sound system for computers or cellphones

Good. Little heating but ok

The PAM8406 amplifier IC can generate a significant amount of heat when operating at higher power levels, and this heat can cause the amplifier board to malfunction or even fail. Therefore, adding a heatsink to the PAM8406 amplifier board can help dissipate the heat generated by the IC and improve the overall thermal performance of the amplifier. suggest to the seller that they offer the option to purchase the board with a heatsink included in the future, as this may be helpful for other customers who may also encounter similar heating issues.

Mini circuit with volume controls & seperate channels .Works nice . good quality material used . Need 3/6 point mini sockets for connections to speaker output from amplifier . You can adjust speaker volume easily . Do not get heated & no soldering reqd . Clear sound .Can be purchased without second thought . Reliable purchase .

Even though it's just a 5W Amp, there is not enough power for loud output. The potentiometer is too delicate and most likely break even before your build is complete. Go for something with fixed output instead and not waste your time and mkney on this.
