How is this different than a regular bathtime pitcher for toddlers? I guess I’m confused about how this keeps water out of eyes if it just pours out.

Hey Ashley! Our rinser cup has 2 options for pouring. A rainshower side for newborns and a spout (with a little lip) for toddlers+. Both ends are designed to keep the water out of your little one's eyes and ears.

Website says China. The young mother I gave it to says her baby loves it.

can anyone compare this to the SkipHop whale rinser?

If you ask us there is no comparison :). Our rinser has 2 different spouts depending on your little one's age and the grip is awesome!

What is this made of? Is it bpa, pvc and phalate free?

Hey Hat we have not evaluated the riser cup for BPA, because it is made of materials where BPA is not normally found. We have tested for lead and phthalates and have undetectable levels of all.

desertcart.co.jp: Control The Flow Rinser|Bath Time Rinse Cup with Easy Grip Handle and Removable Rain Shower : ドラッグストア Review: Red locks - This is a great find and a great buy. I bought it for my daughter as a baby shower gift for my brand new granddaughter. She frequently took baths and we washed her hair every night in the beginning she was not keen on having this used when rinsing shampoo from her hair. It is a great item for babies who do not mind having water poured over their head, but for babies who do mine, they may have some form of aversion to it. It might not be a great product to use just because Water can get in the ears and the face and some babies. Do not like that. Other than that it is a great product. I would definitely buy again. Review: Muy práctico - Muy suave y cumple con lo que dice
