I bought these because I had a similar design that I wanted to replace. I’d had them about a week. My cat likes to push my things off my nightstand when I won’t get up in the morning (yes, I realize a total cat thing to do), and pushed off my new glasses and they broke on the carpeted floor. Not a long or violent drop, but they did break.
