Good quality wire & Nomex insulator for high temperature use.
These were an excellent deal and better quality then the original sockets I was replacing. They have 18 AWG UL1332 tin plated / teflon insulated wire rated at 200C. Much better than the cheap 105C PVC wire in similar sockets. The thinner teflon insulation is also easier to route. I also like the NOMEX paper insulator at the bottom of the socket for extra security.

Simple DIY Fix That Saved Me Money
Being able to purchase these E26 light sockets made it easy to repair my existing light fixtures without having to buy completely new ones. The installation was straightforward, and they worked perfectly with standard bulbs. Great quality and a budget-friendly solution for anyone looking to do a quick and easy DIY fix. Highly recommend!

Great quality sockets at a great price!
I have a ceiling fan with a light fixture that has long been discontinued by the manufacturer. A couple of the sockets in it went bad, so I decided to rewire the fixture since I couldn't find another fixture I liked. After examining the local and online options for replacement sockets, I chose these based on price and the fact that the metal mounting strap has 2 attachment points to the ceramic rather than 1 (so the socket is less likely to twist). I was pleased to find that these sockets use teflon wire leads, which should withstand heat better and are easier to route through the fixture wire pipes because they are thinner than a standard PVC coating. The wires themselves are still 18AWG, which is the same as what my old sockets had. The only thing that's mildly questionable is the wire strands are silver rather than copper in color. Another reviewer thought they may be aluminum but after some research concluded they were a copper coated tin. I suspect that is likely the case, as the sockets *claim* to be UL listed. They definitely aren't steel, as they are non-magnetic. Regardless, they worked perfectly in my fixture and I expect they will far outlast the original sockets the fixture came with. These also came with steel mounting pipes, nuts, and 2 sizes of flat washers but I did not need/use any of them for my application.

These sockets work fine as a replacement.
I purchased these to replace a broken one in a Kichler outdoor light fixture that cost $320. The fixture had a lifetime finish but I guess the guts did not and failed after just 5 years. These sockets work fine as a replacement. The box did have all the other hardware, the hollow bolts (I found out are called a hickey) the nuts and washers even though it’s not mentioned in the description. The lead wires are smaller than the original. Mine were 14 gauge and I would guess these are 16 or maybe even 18 gauge. I’m using an LED bulb so it doesn’t matter. Would have given it 5 stars id the wire gauge was specified. Over all really pleased and saved $320 for a new fixture.

Good Deal for You
This was a sweet deal; 4 sockets for 10 bucks. Used them to rehab a 25 year old fixture. Good as new now. For the price and quality, I would recommend them to anyone.

4010
The Leviton 4010 is discontinued and a lot of suppliers are selling the socket $40 to over a$100 each. This is a unique design of 30 fixtures needing attention. My image shows my rescue of the light fixture now using LED E26 light bulbs. Very little heat generated will last a long time.

You have to add the ground wire somehow. It is the most important part of any electrical appliance however, these fixtures are exactly as sold

Better deal than buying individual lampholders from a hardware store. Only complaint is that the screws used to hold the metal bracket / hickey to the socket use mismatched, seemingly random screws. This bracket needs to be removed for installation then replaced, Getting the screws to thread back down proved quite tricky, but possible. By no means a deal-breaker in my opinion
