It's a fantastic product that works; I can't do more than it's outstanding, and I would repurchase it.

For my QC35, I decided I wanted a longer cord with an in-line mic. I had recently busted my gaming headset and while waiting for the warranty replacement to come in. I decided to plug in my Bose headset, to utterly be disappointed at the stock audio cable because of it's length and lack of a microphone. The alternative was Bluetooth, but that made me lose the edge on the big major gaming titles. This cable made me forget that I busted my nearly the same price gaming headset. It was able to bring the amazing features I like on my QC35 for listening to music or zoning ambient noise out; into the gaming environment. The in-line microphone is tricky when ever the mic side is being covered. Otherwise it makes for a good substitute if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on an expensive headset. Don't expect the in-line mic to be a studio quality microphone, because it's not; but it does enable you to communicate with other people.

I ordered this cable to create the flexibility of controlling the volume on my phone without needing to touch my phone, especially when working out. I could not tell from the picture that it had different connectors (I didn’t look closely enough),, and apparently didn't read the description fully, which is my error. It clearly says" 3.5mm and 2.5mm" connectors. Sighhh... Unfortunately, I cannot rate this item properly because I am unable to test its performance. I don't have anything with a 2.5 mm connector to connect to. Here's what I can speak to: Shipping: Excellent. I have prime (which has not been relevant lately, as things have been delivered late & at varying times). However, with this product it came as promised by the time stated. 1 Day. Packaging: Excellent. The cable was in a protective plastic inside the shipping plastic. It was wrapped neatly and had a plastic protector on both ends. Quality: Great: No tangle cord looks well made & of lasting material. Typical plastic buttons for volume. Male/Female attachments are sturdy and secure. REMINDER:I cannot speak to functionality, therefore my opinion is based on the look of the item only regarding quality. Performance: Unknown - Unable to Rate 5 Star Review: Why? My philosophy: If the error was on me, I will NOT rate against the product & decrease the overall rating where I was complicit or solely responsible for negatively impacting my own experience. My error obstructed my ability to truly test or benefit from the item. Therefore, I lean to the conservative in my ratings and give the most positive rating that I can. My expectation checklist, outside of actually experiencing the product, was met; therefore, 5 Stars. I'll eat the cost on this one, rather than sending it back.

The cable that came with a gaming headset I bought few years ago started having problems, so I decided to try buying this instead of replacing the headset altogether. Very good replace cable, works the same as the original, better made than the original.

I've ordered multiple of these cords over the last year due to my cat eating the cord. However, this time with proper precautions of not leaving it out and keeping it safe the audio cuts out of one ear. The cord is not damaged, no visible wires showing and rough handing is not the case. Just not sure if it's a malfunction in the cord or a defective item, but it's definitely an issue with repeating this purchase in the future.
