Worked really great but does take some patience
Worked great, i saw results by the 2 month mark. It started with little spots all over. My tank is well established and rock stable but only now was i finally able to get coralline growth. The colors are very vibrant also, not muted like tanks ive had in the past. I am super happy with these results.

Zero growth.
I put this in long enough ago that I should be seeing some results by now, but no growth at all. I have searched the tank high and low for even a speck but zero. My water is fine, fish inverts macros and corals all fine and healthy. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

Used (red) before with success but not purple
Dumped the whole bottle in a 29 gallon tank, no red or purple algae yet after 6+ months. I gave it a three star because I think I saw 1 purple circle between the glass and the white sand maybe 3 months after I added solution but it went away. I have elevated Nitrate levels but still no algae but bubble algae and I have 1 turbo snail. Maybe he is eating the spores before they develop.

What can I say… I have purple spots!
I’ve added zero means of getting coralline to the tank, other than this. A few weeks later… I’ll be scraping the glass for all of eternity! There are 1/4” sized purplish spots everywhere on the glass. I can only assume it’s started all over the rocks as well. I really recommend this if you’re trying to keep foreign pest out of your tank, like me. I avoid live rock and the like… like they’re the plague. I don’t have any snails or hermits with coralline on their shells. This seemed like the safest option for me to get the spores flowing, and it didn’t disappoint. Read the instructions and don’t blame the product for your poor water quality! Your dKH, Calcium, Magnesium, etc is super important… all of that has to be on point to grow coralline, and without good parameters this bottle isn’t a miracle fix. Fix your water before buying this! dKH - Higher than 8. Mine is consistently at 9.3-9.6 Calcium- Right around the 400 area. Mine stays around 400, +/- 20 Mag. - Mine hovers in the 1100 range. I may be a tad low, honestly. I’d like 1300, but this seems to like 1100 just fine. Stability… Stability… Stability…
