Mic-Lock Camera Finder Pro - Anti Spy Hidden Camera Detector with Infrared (IR) - Secure Your Space (Red)

We located 2 devises with this tool, I keep it with me! Well made in nice case, quality is superb , I bought a more expensive one , yet this one worked much better! Bight lights and ease of use makes it a dream! You can mute, turn off, not allow -etc etc , but that will not stop someone from watching and listening to your every word! Really - it happens , it happened to me , and utilizing weak security protocols from my FORMER cell provider , my entire identity was stolen by someone access my phone illegally, one they captured my passcodes via my camera and my information thru 24 / 7 ease-dropping, by the time it was discovered it was too late , I would not dare allow anyone to use a phone in my home , or around me without this mic-block - it works and my hackers tried to disable it remotely with no success! I keep extra ones that I let people around me use to keep our conversations private , at my house you can leave your phone in your car, or use the mic-Locke! Once soneobe gains access to your camera they can see your passcodes or your s keystroke counter to learn it, in real time I was able to screen record a hacker using my user id and passcode, but once I added the NDC card with a second security key , they could not use the passcode alone, they had to have the physical card and key or it would not allow access. A must have for todays AI -black hat hacker world !!!

ALL claimed functionality is based on false advertising. Nothing, NO component in this device has anything to do with "infrared" . It is just RED LEDs and RED plastic window. Nothing else. Does not work. Because it deals with RED light, what you can see with your own eyes, you can see with this gadget. The "large infrared window" is nothing but red plastic. Tested with various real infrared illuminators. Do not buy.

Only one level of lights worked when this arrived. I thought about returning it and getting a new one, but instead I took it apart and soldered the second light bar back to the main circuit board and it worked fine and as advertised. The plastic case feels flimsy. It did come with a nice little bag to protect the screen while not in use.

The detector comes in a nice black box with no labeling which can be used as a carrying case, although that makes it nearly twice as bulky as without the box. It includes an 8cm (not including connectors) USB to micro-USB charging cable. The viewfinder is 2.7cm x 6.5cm. The whole unit is 4.2 x 10.1 x 1.8 cm. It has a wrist strap and is comfortable to hold and operate with the convenient mode/power button either left or right-handed. The mode/power button cycles between rapid flash, slow flash, solid on, and off. The included instruction sheet recommends (via picture) to operate it by holding the viewfinder close to your eye with the 12 LEDs pointed away from you. Further it recommends that you scan the entire room from a distance of 4-5 ft, with all other lights off, if possible. In my tests, I found that reflections of the LED light and sometimes the entire LED pattern become quite obvious when viewing nearly anything reflective. In particular glass, chrome and LEDs such as those often exposed in TV remote controls. That's good because camera lenses are often made of glass, and IR LEDs similar to those in TV remotes often accompany hidden cameras for the purpose of night-vision. So it can definitely make hidden cameras more obvious. Unfortunately it also makes a lot of other shiny things more obvious, so you still have to pay attention to all the detail in a scene to discern whether there's a camera lens somewhere in all the other reflections. Even more unfortunately, I found when tested with actual cameras, the lenses were not obvious unless looking nearly straight into them. I was able to get a good reflection from a 150 degree FOV lens from about 3ft at nearly a 10 degree offset, but it was tinier than a pin prick, and easy to miss if scanning rapidly. I found that other typical overhead lights and monitor glow in the room made no significant difference in scanning effectiveness. This may be a benefit to using red LEDs and a red viewfinder. Other than that, I'm not sure what benefit there is to the red light. It's clear this thing is useful for detecting hidden cameras, but as far as I can tell, most of the benefit is in illuminating shadowy areas, and forcing you to search the room systematically. I believe the savvy among us could do the same with a flashlight of nearly any color. Do keep in mind though, that I have very little experience using the detector so far. I don't regret my purchase and I will continue experimenting to see if I can learn to detect hidden cameras with it more easily. As compared with the other detectors with smaller viewfinders and fewer LEDs. I don't have any to compare with, but it seems obvious to me that this one is much easier to use for people wearing glasses. More LEDs almost certainly means more light, which seems intuitively better, improving the chance of a good reflection, and these 12 LEDs are very bright.

I haven’t used it yet, and I’m already in love! (Their supporting video makes it look like a valuable little tool) 1) So reasonably priced; 2) Concise, helpful video on the Amazon listing page, makes it look easy; 3) Comes with USB cord, small cleaning cloth, and a bag for storage (a previous review was miffed there wasn’t a carrying case, but I found mine by removing all packaging from the box where the cleaning cloth and bag were tucked beneath; 4) A minor point, but also shows their commitment to quality ... a printed version of directions that will fit in the bag with the unit; 5) Their company info is more than available if necessary if you read their instructions and to to their website. 6) I’m impressed ... an inexpensive but useful product and they really want to make sure their customers are happy and taken care of.

Brain-dead simple. Charge it up, press the button (once for slow flash, again for faster flash, again for steady light, again for off). Look through the lens (with lights facing away from you) and scan for cameras. On my phone, it didn't detect the camera until I turned the camera on. Then I got a bright flash when I scanned the lens. Had to be just about straight on to detect it. This appears to be standard for this level of technology (infrared only).

Very very difficult to see the camera. Even when trying to detect the camera of a phone, it is almost impossible to she the reflection on the lenses, or not being able to see them at all. Not worth the value of the product. Waste of money.

Well made, light and easy to carry however, yet to be able to detect hidden cameras but will continue to use and learn this item to be able to provide better review. Love the internal built in power source which makes it easy to power up and provide portability capacity on this items.

The cameras that are supposed to be detected are washed out by the bright red LED light. This is supposed to be near infrared, not bright red LED. I cannot see a camera sensor that is looking at me if it is hidden inside an object that is also reflective. Does not do what it intended for. It presents as cheap plastic junk for the high price! Not recommended!

It essentially shines (or blinks) the attachment is plugged in the room somewhere and the viewer can spot the signal the spy cam or whatever is emitting.

Threw it in the garbage 30 min after I got it. reminded me of when I was a little kid and I got my first spy kit
