Great tasting Tahini Perfect for making hummus It is five star all the way except The bottle is plastic which I would’ve preferred it come in glass. But this won’t stop me from buying it again the flavor is very good, consistency good needed only a little bit of stirring. On arrival it Has tamperproof seal underneath lid.Update/ Third purchase of this product and I was shipped another brand by accident called Mid East. The seller kindly said to go ahead and keep it and just re-order. So since I was told to keep it I opened it and tasted it I was very disappointed in the Mid East brand. It was bitter and runny. Just confirmed my initial review of how good the Cortas brand is.

Flavorful but a small container
The tahini has excellent flavor, but the picture of the jar is misleading. It looks like a 32 oz container, but it is only 16 oz.

Broken seals, rancid tahini
This arrived with the outer and inner seal broken and the tahini was rancid. It can’t be returned or replaced so money down the drain

Made of PET which is PBA free and approved by FDA
it is made of plastic but like glass! The jar is made of PET plastic with the number 1 in it! . PET is hygienic, strong, resistant to attack by micro-organisms, doesn't react with foods and won't biologically degrade. Its safe for food! It is used in all bottled water in USA. It is recyclable! There is another Kortas Tahini jar wrapped in plastic! It is made of PET number 1 too...This is not written on the packaging paper but it is on the bottom of the jar! The taste is authentic! we love it even with chocolate!
