I had to send the sump pump back to the company because it wouldn't charge the battery, they repaired it & returned it to me. I haven't lost power since I've had it but I think it will work.

The unit charged the battery for 15 seconds. I thought--Wow--I got a fully charged battery. It changed to full green, I unplugged it and the sump pump came on just fine. I plugged it back in and an hour later I thought--where's the pump (usually every 25 minutes)? Well, the fuse was blown, top green light out. I replaced the fuse--seemed to work fine--but an hour later I checked it and all lights were out (fuse was fine). My 1/3 hp pump was too much for it? Returned, POJ!

I needed to have a battery back up source for an existing sump pump to satisfy a requirement for a home sale. This fit the bill with a very simple installation.

Right out of the box it did not work. We must have received a bad one. We contacted their support and they had us try a couple of things, but it is nothing on our end so we are sending it back to exchange.

Can use it, its not functional, defective product, sold me something that is already not working or broken, better get my money back
