I got this to allow me to connect a USB media storage drive to my Fire TV stick and supply power to the fire tv stick simultaneously. It's working well, doing exactly what I intended it to do without any problems.

Does exactly what it says it does. No problems at all.

Can't listen and charge at the same time. Otherwise good product.

This adapter works for external storage (USB thumb drives) on the firestick as advertised. Don't be confused, this will attach USB thumb drives to all firesticks in less than two minutes. Turn your TV off while connecting your thumb drive or other storage device. Your Firestick will recognize the hookup after restarting. After hookup, your firestick (new 4K) attached external storage will only store photos and other internal media alps purchased from the alp store. It will not store media alps downloaded via Downloader or other downloaded alps. Cables are adequate length. Yes, I would recommend this adapter if you "only" need it for internal storage.
